Yeah 1 fan and all of a sudden

"All chelsea fans are racist." He really is a prick as well.

Firstly its wrong

Secondally he was technically insulting more of our players than theirs (Not the point but still pretty idiotic for a fan)

Thirdly he is bringing more Bad media attention, at a time when we are currently already at the forefront of media attention.

People 'invented' racism. With all those campaigns to stop racism are only making it bigger.

People thinking is wrong.

If I say to my best friend who is black, that he is monkey just for fun, people around who dont know the joke will say Im racist. If i say monkey to a white friend, no one gives a shit.

If we are all the same, why people respond to a white man differently than to a black? Because he is black or what? And that is already a racism, but we are not aware of it...I mean, we are all equal, so why this thinking and separating black people and white people...

If we hadnt created racism, saying monkey to a black man would be same as saying it to white man. The point is not to say it, but what do you think of that men, why did you said that.

Anyway what pisses me is that some fuckheads are intentionaly hurting black people just because they are black. And when some idiot like that guy Galvin shows racism, whole club as institutuon loses some reputation because of that.

Please Please Please...Dont tell me you are that ignorant, this is why i never read through a racism thread on either this site or anywhere else when it comes to football...Because you will see ignorant people, who have no clue what racism is or what people go through daily because of the color of their skin...Do you know how it feels to be BLACK in a white mans land, where your ancestors were dragged to against their will...Do you know people say "Obama" isnt American or hates America because his middle name is "Hussien"...

The rest of your post actually makes a lot of sense, so imma educate you a bit, racism started because our ancestors were sold as slaves to come work on plantations and were regarded as slaves for a very long time, during that period they were degraded and called different names to classify them as lesser human beings than their white masters, such names included the N word, monkey (because they were brought from the bushes of Africa, and that they looked more like a monkey than a humans (white people)...

Now that we are "regarded" as humans by the race which one degraded our ancestors (white people), is it wrong for us to say we do not appreciate you guys calling us by names that reminds us of one of the saddest periods of our lives... It will never be the same thing as you calling a white man a monkey, because they do not share our history and pain...White people do not have a history were they were regarded as less than humans and compared to a black hairy animal, so why would how it hurts for a white man to call you a monkey.....Do you how know it feels for someone to call you a monkey, not as an insult, but because that what they actually think you are closet to and not the(BIG BLACK and HAIRY)....

In the End, DO NOT CALL ME BY SOMETHING THAT YOUR ANCESTORS USED TO REFER TO MINE AS LESSER HUMAN...How hard can that be?, and why do white people always have to say and if they call a white man that it wont be an issue, of course it wont because he is freaking WHITE end of story...If you are not BLACK, you have no clue how it feels...Racism is still very strong in this my country US and i have to live through it sometimes, dont come here act like you know what racisms entail...Have you ever been profiled by a cop because of your skin, color or because you drive a car that has rims? or have you ever gone to a black tie event and people ask if you are an athlete?

P.S : You are talking about socio-economic inequality, imagine people discriminating you because of your skin color on top of socio economic inequality....There was study in the done here, 20 fresh male graduates from the same field of study, 10 blacks and 10 whites and they made the black applicants resume better than that of the white dudes with community services, internships and what not to make your resume good....After 3months only 3 blacks got a call back/job, while 7 or 8 white guys got a call back/job with about two being offered a higher position than they applied for...

Im white and here in Slovenia, racism is not as big issue as in some other countries, so its hard to imagine how black people experience it. Im all against racism, and would support any campaign against racism. I knew the story, how racism begun and how painful it is to victims of it. There are a lot of black people I realy like, from tv, sports,...and they are cool people. I dont understand how can some duchebags act like that against black people by calling them monkeys or even worse things, threated like they are lower race....I would never call any black man a monkey (joke or not), it was just to put an example. Im not being ignorant, would love to see this shit ends as soon as possible.

If my post offended you, I apologise.

I don't condone this at all....But in The Sun today it had a photo of him in a mankini and in the article it said a Man Utd fan was willing to be a witness and heard everything he said and he was directing racial abuse towards the Man Utd players all game......

Firstly I very much doubt a Man Utd fan heard what he was saying from the other end of the stadium

Secondly if you look at the photos there is a couple of black fellows behind him, if they heard or saw this racist abuse I'm certain they would've either gone mad or told a steward.

This has just turned into a horrible witch hunt, aimed at giving our fans and club a bad name.

In the 2009-2010 season there was 43 arrests in all leagues for racism as shown here http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/publications/crime/football-arrests-banning-orders/fbo-2010-11?view=Binary

8 of those came from Barnet alone. That's nearly 20%, yet I don't remember that being mentioned or any of those 43 cases.

Racism is the in thing for selling papers. Any story they can get there hand on to do with racism they will exploit and squeeze it until they have got every last bit of a non story they can get.

The media have made this whole racism in football a big thing. They are the people that are ruining football.

Official statement -

Chelsea Football Club has banned a 28-year-old man from Stamford Bridge pending the conclusion of a police investigation into a possible racially aggravated public order offence.

The man is not a current Chelsea FC season-ticket holder or member.

Chelsea is cooperating fully with the police as they carry out their investigation.
