We are building a new team, we have to take our chances to make this team work together. It would be ok to rest Ashley Cole, and give Sturridge a chance in the attack. I see no reason to not use Mata, Hazard and Oscar together in this match. Romeu also should start, instead Mikel.

I know we are looking to build this new team but not playing in 1 game is not going to cause any harm to us. Some players need game time and some needs to be rested. Furthermore, we need to look at the different approach to our play which we can adopt next time by using wingers like Moses and Marin to see how it goes. Can't continue to play narrowly in each game by using Oscar, Mata and Hazard.

Also, no way Mata, Oscar, and Hazard should be playing. This will be one of the most meaningless games we are going to play all year and if you can't sit players for a game like that, you're going to be playing these guys 60 games a season. We also play again on Saturday in a pretty tough fixture and then again next Wednesday against Shaktar and then the Sunday against Liverpool.Our key players have already played 3 games in the last 8 days. You want them to be playing 7 matches in 3 weeks? We'll get revenge on United by beating them in the league and winning the Premier League, not by winning a League Cup game.
