The dumbest question i've ever seen if i'm honest. To see Chelsea be world champions for the first time and win something that Liverpool have never won? And to get that badge on the shirt telling the opposition who they're playing, the FIFA World Champions. Come on, be serious.

Biggest tournament in club football? That's the Champions League by a mile. This is a very minor tournament with very little prestige and almost no history. Still want to win it because winning is always better and this is the easiest tournament we'll ever have (2 matches both against inferior clubs).

I agree about the Champions League, but CWC is very old (FIFA made it theirs in 2000, but it long exists) and if you look at the teams that won it, you realise Chelsea belongs with them!

The Intercontinental Cup was before and that has some history but it was always viewed as a minor tournament in Europe. European teams often declined to even play in the tournament and viewed more as a distraction than anything. It's always been a bigger tournament outside of Europe. As I said, I want Chelsea to win, but it's not a high priority.

I do think the same. I am not questioning the priority, I do not agree with the lack of history and prestige, some major teams have won it though, and I want CFC to do the same.

Chelsea is not an European Club anymore, It has gone Worldwide. I reckon that all SA fans want it so badly and Japanese fans also. European teams view it as a distraction (I agree), but it is not only Europe that counts...

Its the only competition in the world were you get to play competitive games out of Europe.

Its the only competition we will get to play competitive games against teams not in Europe.

Its also a chance to be Champions of the WORLD.

It's such an under-rated competition it's almost criminal.

It doesn't matter how good the teams there are on paper, it's a chance to be World Champions and hopefully we win it so we finally can go and ramb it up the the throat of the Kop on April 20th.

Again, read the entire question. Is it worth it to win this Cup? There are people that feel that we shouldn't worry about this competition, if it prevents us from winning some other competitions like the League or FA Cup.

I would love it IF we won it (and that is still a big if with Corinthians around) that we turn this history line right back at Liverpool.

Something like "you may have 5 European Cups and 18 League's, but you have never been World Champions, no history".
