Online.

I refuse to pay for Sky Sports considering that it costs them nothing to provide me with it yet demand such a high amount of money for it.

I've tried finding an illegal way to get at least 1 Sky Sports channel for free, but no luck.

How does it cost them nothing? They fist pump money into the PL, hence they quality of the football on display.

I ha a second ticket for the last decade, but I gave it up last year. Work / home commitments didn't leave me with the time to attend every game. Still go to some but ja e been watching mostly on TV this season.

I thought real fans watch the game live at the stadium.

Yeah, it's pathetic that I don't go games very often. It's not like I'm poor and live on the otherside of the world. I mean why spend money on food when I could save up for a $1500 return plane ticket just so I can spend a weekend in London and become a 'real fan'. One day I hope to have the mighty Reddish-Blue's approval, one day I can be a real fan.

If you want to pay for Spike to go to games, I'm sure he'll accept. Just so you know, a flight from Sydney to London and back will be about 1500 GBP and takes like 55 hours (including airport time). Makes it difficult to get to the stadium on a regular basis.

I looked it up. It would cost me AUD1600 (GBP1000) just to get to London. No return flight. But I'd have to take a plane from where I live to Brisbane and then from Brisbane I'd have to catch a plane to Sydney.

Always on TV, If not, then online. Only been for 1 game Live, at Bolton a few years ago when i was at University in UK.

However, Off Topic, Japan is developing a new technology in which they have some 200 cameras in a stadium which cover every angle on the pitch. That then gives a holographic view of the pitch, which is then streamed whatever holographic setup you have.

I can foresee Chelsea FC or the Premier League then building a stadium in Big cities around the world, and projecting the holograms on LED pitches, and having 50,000 people watching the game in every big city. Even if they charge 10 pounds for that ticket, and have 5 stadiums around the world, they will make 10-15 million more per week.

Just some interesting Food for Thought, and how it will change football.

All the home games live, and a few away games. Most away games on TV however.

The guys who sit directly behind me go to all away games, including U21 games. Serious dedication but requires a lot of time travelling. I would like to do that but don't have the time at the moment.

Mostly on TV and if it's not broadcasted in Spain my only option left is online. I have watched Chelsea live only two times, in 2010 vs United in the community shield and in 2011 vs Valencia away in the UCL. I would like to watch a match in the Bridge one day, I have been there once but for the tour and museum visit.

I wouldn't call a lot of people at the stadium on a regular basis 'real fans'. Some of them have too much money that they don't know what to do with so decide to watch Chelsea yet don't really care. Others have stupid expectations and boo the team off when we don't win a game against Juventus. Others are just pricks who go along and look for a fight with away fans- wouldn't call them real fans either.

There are lots of international fans on this forum who are more 'real' fans of the club than a lot of people at the stadium. There are lots of English fans who are 'real fans' who pumped a lot of money into the 'Save the Bridge' campaign and donated lots of money to the club in the 70's and 80's to keep it running and are repaid by the club by ridiculous ticket prices which do not allow them to go often or at all.

I agree with some of this, but not all.... those who give up spare time and there money to attend games are genuinely real fans. Most of those who used to be seated near me travel for several hours to attend games, some have the money to spare, others don't but they all donate thier personal time to actually attend a game. This is not a dig (because everyone's circumstances are different) but its far easier to log onto an online stream post a few comments on a forum than it is to actually travel to a game.
