Was reading an article yesterday, dont remember where, but it said the Nordsjaelland play extremely attacking football, and their play is based on one touch move and pass.

It is supposedly very similar to the way swansea played at home last season.

Now even though we are chelsea and all that, going to Swansea away is never an easy fixture. The same applies to Nordsjaelland.

The longer we dont score, the more likely they will.

They are not a team who will sit back and defend, hoping that 1 point will get them through the group.

As a club, they know they have no chance qualifying through this group, so their primary motivation is to show quality and cause an upset and make the world take notice of them.

They have nothing to lose, and will treat the game that way.

We have everything to lose, and we should approach the game that way.

If we underestimate them, and they QPR us like last season at Loftus, when we did not know what to expect, and if we do not come away with 3 points, that is BIG TROUBLE.

So, to finish, a few of you guys are being way too overconfident. If you have seen Nordsjaellan play and know that they are in the CL by some fluke, then alright, but if you dont know enough, then dont underestimate a starving pet, he will bite.

Even APOEL caused us plenty of problems when we played them in Cyprus in 2009. We just narrowly edged past them on that day.

And Cluj

Teams like this that have nothing to lose, seem to go out and have cracking games against the big clubs.

We'll probably smash them 5-0 now mind you.

We even drew with them at SB after they scored two late goals if I remember correctly. Just comes to highlight how complacency can hurt us.

Wow, reading some posts here. People thinking we will not win if we go with Moses, Marin, Sturridge, Azi, etc.

Please, let us be realistic. This supossed reserve team is miles away from Nordsjaelland. Stop with thw worries and have some fun. I am more preoccupied with the mentality with face the game than with the team we put in...

Really? How many matches have you seen Nordsjaelland play in? If the answer in none as I'm sure it is, then your judgement on what team is better is completely unfounded.

Must win for us...

Cech

Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Bertrand

Romeu - Lampard

Marin - Oscar - Hazard

Torres

and against Norwich on Saturday

Cech

Ivanovic - Cahill - Luiz - Cole

Mikel - Ramires

Moses - Hazard - Mata

Torres (Sturridge if fit)

Ooooo, I do like the looks of those line-ups. I'd be very happy with those!

Yes I havent until the draw...So just shut your big fat mouth before judging me!

It was a valid point because everyone was making remarks about a team they don't know. And I did not judge you, it was a question, and one that I asked politely. You better watch your language or you will find yourself facing warnings/suspensions. Attacks on users are not tolerated on these forums.

These are actually really good, feasible lineups. We may see something like those.

Perfect game to rotate our squad, will love to give some people a rest so that they can be as fresh as mata is right now.

Turnbull

Cesar-cahill-terry-betrand

Romeu-lampard

Moses-mata-marin

Sturridge/torres

Cech rest your elbow

Ivanovic needs a rest

Cole needs a freakin rest

Mikel needs a freakin rest

Luiz needs a freakin rest

Ramires needs a freakin rest

Hazard needs a bloody rest. Lost a little form compared to the begining of the season. I mean look at mata now...

Oscar could come in 2nd half

I don't think sturridge is fit yet. But if he is then he shuld play or torres can add to his goal tally for confidence.

We need to rest players for this game because we finally have the squad to do that.

That's what makes ferguson very good in the premier league, he rotates keeping everyone fresh.(Look at mata's perfomance now) So that 60games can be played among everyone.

I don't know what the fuss is about, this squad above is good enough to beat that team, the only problem is lampard in the pivot.
