wonders how many have actually seen Zola play?

Not me. I was too young, Premier League coverage was poor and my family was too poor (or too tight) back then to afford cable television. To me Chelsea didn't exist out of FIFA '98 on the Playstation One.

He was actually the reason I started supporting Chelsea, though I only caught his final season or so here. But I think in terms of achievements and records Lampard edges it.

I never saw him live, but i remember him, vialli as player manager, dennis wise as captain tor andre flo, di matteo, petrescu, laboef, around the 1998 season. That is why i started supporting chelsea. But for me all of lamps achievments, goal scoring record make him the greatest. It would be so great if he could top it all of by breaking our scoring record.... Would be one of the most amazing things to witness, especially as he is the first generation of chelsea player who i have seen from the start of his career to the end.

Drogba and Lampard for me. I didn't really get a proper chance of seeing Zola and the others from that era play as I only started getting into football about 10-12 years ago (apart from FIFA that is, I've played them on Playstation since 98 :P) and back then I didn't have the means to watch football regularly because my family couldn't either afford or were too cheap to pay for the channels. I watched the games whenever they were on free channels but it wasn't much so none of the guys from that time really made an impact on me. A few years later I got the chance of watching nearly all the games and since then Frank and a couple of years after that Didier have won me over and I'm sure that in the future I can be proud to have seen the majority of the matches these two legends have played for Chelsea.

Super Frank Lampard. German Lampard Fans even got a Lampard Noster. Here is a translation try

Our Lampard in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your goal come,

your assist be done,

at the Bridge as away.

Give us this day your daily skills compilation,

and forgive us our doubts,

as we also have forgiven your doubters.

And lead us not into age comments,

but deliver us from Steven Gerrard
