LayZ 201
According to whoscored, David Luiz played 15 long balls of whch 10 were accurate...no wonder I was feeling that he kept pumping the ball upfield for Torres from well within our own half at every opportunity he got...Torres, isolated as he was kept drifting wide chasing Luiz's balls (no pun intended) and Oscar didn't really look for second balls or flick-ons...Again according to the stats we didn't play a single Through Ball in the entire 90 minutes, Juve played 4...we were a little one-dimensional and lacking in creative ideas at times yesterday...I guess it will take time to change our style and approach to the game, let's just be thankful there were prominent signs of progress yesterday... Liquidator 5,176
Nice to see that Torres kept himself busy by doing absolutely fuck all again. Oscar was amazing though- 2 shots 2 goals, 90% pass completion and was really getting stuck into some tackles which is good for a small guy like him. nhaiduy 1
The game changed when Ramires was subbed. I always looked at Pirlo whenever Juve had the ball, and i think it was usually Rami and (suprisingly) Oscar who pressed him most of the time, forcing him to quick passes and little time to pick out Juve's front men. Since Pirlo operates quite deep it was not Mikel and Lampard's position to harass him. Juve got somewhat frustrated in the first half and started skipping Pirlo, playing long balls to Giovinco and Vucinic, making it easier for us.When ramires was subbed however, the level intensity also dropped and we started sitting deep, which allowed Pirlo more space and time (like England match vs Italy in the Euro), and they started playing Conte's style of high possession, pressing football. Once our midfield won the ball back (Mikel and Lampard), we were pressed by Marchisio and Vidal, and we all know what happens when Mikel is under pressure...Another thing I got from the game was that Chiellini, again, is world class. He completely marked Hazard out of the game in the second half when Hazard switched to the right wing.

meetdoscar 335
Words of Giles Smith "As you may be aware, we won this competition last year - and did so through some bloody-minded clinging-on and some highly efficient counter-punching, mostly in order to annoy Franz Beckenbauer. And enormously enjoyable it was, too. But, on last night's evidence, that doesn't appear to be the way we intend to defend it. Last night was our first proper sight of the energy-boost supplied to this team by Oscar and Eden Hazard, working together, and it looked like a dual set-up that could very quickly turn into a thing of wonder. I'd hate to have been a member of Juventus's back line last night, getting harrassed and closed down by Oscar and Hazard on the form they were in in the first half, in particular. It would have been like being trapped in a small car with two hornets.Plus if there was a better taken goal on our ground in the last three decades or so than Oscar's second one last night, then I'm struggling to remember it. It was, of course, classically, the kind of goal that deserved to win a match, so there was bound to be some disappointment when Juventus crept back into it. Bear in mind, though, that Juventus are no slouches and, indeed, don't appear to have lost a match in Serie A since the age of the oil lamp. Also, it would seem to me, looking at our group, that the key to qualifying from it is to drop points (if we must drop any at all) only when Juventus are doing so, too. To that extent, we're bang on track to go through".....This is exactly how i feel too as we can only get better come the knock out stages...can't wait
Shulz 23
In my opinion you didn't even deserve the draw.......point of views... you scored two long distance goals, one with a deflection. and had a good chance with Mata after a great combination with Hazard. on the other hand we had, goals apart, 3 great opportunities and hitted the cross bar when we were 2-2. can't blame it on Juve if your players sometimes make mistakes, the draw was a fair result imo.. =)

Regardless of the result last night, our qualification for the Last 16 is by no means a foregone conclusion.

Buffalo talks Blue 85
The ref was clearly on a bribe. Why the hell didn't he award us the penalty which we clearly deserved?! A very nasty tackle was played on Hazard. How come he denied us?In my opinion Quagliarella wouldn't have had the opportunity to equalize if Terry would have been on his proper place. What was he doing all through out the game? RDM should have played Cahill and Romeu instead of Terry and Mikel. The 'Terry-Mikel' combination did not work at all :|Oscar is The Little Wonder! He played brilliant and scored two wonderful goals. What a talented kid! Lucky that we have him All in all, our average performance wasn't bad at all. But we could've won if that A-hole Portuguese would concentrate on the game with his wide eyes and give us the penalty we deserved!

Besides if you're saying that we only had 2 chances to score in the match, you're really just proving my point.

Usually said when the Poster has no comeback post. They cannot reply with something relevant or constructive, so resort to this cheap insult.Mata's was half a chance and it only happened because Juve had everyone forward.
