If I remember correctly, Terry got the captain's armband at 25. Not much difference with Courtois' age and if he were to get it, he would be, at least, 24 years old.

You can't compare Terry, he was already 10 years at the club in age of 25. Nothing against Thibo, I just see more leadership in Azpi, along with that he is longer in club and a bit older.

Him or Matic would be a good vice captain choice for me as well, Tibo for me wouldn't cut it as a captain for his awkward body language and his dodgy comments to the press.
Also, while we're talking about the armband in general, i do believe midfielders or defenders are more suited to wear it, that's why i cringe when i see guys like Neymar,Torres etc wearing it, but that's just me

Guys like Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Hazard, etc. Wear it for marketing reasons.
