I cant see 25mio striker to come, Cavani, Falcao, Llorente come off. Lewandovski or Ba would be decent, but I dont really like either of them.

If striker comes, let it be Damiao or Cisse. Add Hulk or Moses and Azpi/Wallace to that and we are ready.

My god, Robert Fleck the man so shit even my cousin, a Swindon Town fan, used to rip it out of me when we were young for us having Robert Fleck. He found great joy that they had a better striker in Fjortoft!

A new striker should provide us with sth extra. Sturridge and Torres are rather finishers, who rely on their acceleration and good service from the team mates. A stirker who is just physical would solve nothing. Physicality only is useful if u have the cleverness and the moves to gain advantage through strength. What we need IMO is a clever, complete, experienced striker. Drogba was so special, not only because he was so powerful but because he could create as well as score a goal out of nothing. He gets a long ball at the edge of the box and BOOM makes a goal ot of it. He goes out wide and crosses inch perfectly, he goes deep into midfield, carries the ball 30 yards forward and gets a freekick. No striker will ever replace him but everything I expect is a striker who can actually participate in the play, gets in the right spaces, has a good decision making and gets not too frustrated about lack of service can simply force a goal with in any legal way, score with his knee, chin or shoulder, wait for the error, puts his effort in the danger zone, does not let his confidence be impeded by lack of scoring so much and simply does, what he does best, nothing extraordinary but reliable.

Torres problem often is he tries too hard but acts not clever enough. He tries to participate in the play, but is simply not natural with it. He tries to work himself a goal but then is missing in the box.
