great attacking LB. more of a wingback really. i`d say there`s been better LB`s but he`s been the best wingback. certainly in my lifetime.

Awesome player. IMHO he set the standard for all LB's today. Like many have said, dude was a wingback, but he could play d when needed.

@Semia Roberto Carlos was actually very poor defensively but world class going forward. He's nowhere near the greatest left-back you have witnessed..... THERE IS A BETTER ONE PLAYING FOR THE TEAM YOU SUPPORT !

But the second goal was just a cross gone wrong, and the keeper was awful. It wasn't predetermined, planned or executed surgically anything like the French goal.

Having said all that, it was a lot more spectacular than the free kick!
