xPetrCechx 13,573
Chelsea chief Gourlay warns rivals spending spree isn't over yet!Speaking after Chelsea’s 1-0 pre-season defeat to AC Milan in Miami, Gourlay said: ‘While we ended with a very strong season, it was clear that there were some areas where we did have to strengthen, so we knew we were always going to have to do that.‘If the right players become available at the right time we will sign them. We’ve done that and we are still continuing to look at one or two positions and we will see how that develops over the next couple of weeks.’Abramovich was a visible presence during the two-week US tour and Gourlay added: ‘Internationally, we have grown and grown in the last four years and I wanted him to be here to see just how his club has developed.http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz223EqT5Sx

Jype 6,398
Azpilicueta pretty much nailed to be one of those two but no idea on the other, so many rumours around. Could be Hulk, Moses, Schürrle, Willian, Cavani, Lewandowski or someone else entirely.

Superblue 6,372
Azpi and Moses are the obvious looking two, but I still think a striker could be brought - possibly the final transfer could be the biggest!
The Big Drog 1,110
I don't care, I like this man. He does a cracking job.And hail Roman, while Man Utd are dithering about whether or not to float Man Utd shares in the NY stock exchange, Roman is supplying is us genuine, top quality footballers while his club also secures sponsorship deals with wins the trophies necessary to beat the financial fairplay rules. Cz4rny1337 24
Him pretty much said the samthing thing at the Q&A session in Philly. He said that Chelsea would be announcing a player signing in the 24 to 48 hours (Oscar) and they were still in the market for 2 to 3 other players; with 4 going out on loan and two others being sold.Found here: http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/7/29/3200579/chelsea-fc-transfer-news-ron-gourlay-quotes
manpe 10,861
I'm now confident in at least a new right back. But 2-3 sounds very promising, our team isn't complete yet hence why it's premature to be pessimistic about the upcoming season. Job to be well done by mr. Gourlay and co.
Bir_CFC 3,455
Azpi is coming for sure.Moses looks likely but not sure we need him. Depends on who we're able to I guess, if Benayoun and Malouda both leave then I guess.
capriccioso 2,545
Gourlay is still a wanker. Roman has played a larger part in negotiating the sponorships, particularly the one with Gazprom which was probably all his own work. Emenalo has signed the players.Big Ron sits on his arse figuring out ways to cheat the CPO out of a fair say. He deserves 0 credit for everything the club has achieved in recent years.
