It's pre season... in the grand scheme of things, hardly anyone is watching, when compared to a normal premier league match... And the sport is the most popular in the world so i don't think one pre-season game will change anything in the slightest.

Problems (in my opinion) -

Lukaku (nothing needs to be said)

Meireles (nothing needs to be said)

Both our CM's/CDM's, whatever you want to call them, are slow and average passers. They've also been programmed over the years to play defensive football in general. They're passing backwards and sidewards far too much, and when they do pass forward, it's often not accurate.

Ivanovic is having a very off night.

Luiz is the 'holy boy' of most Chelsea fans so he's not allowed to be commented on, so I'll just say that I wish Terry - Cahill was our #1 centre-back pairing. (I simply feel that a Terry - Luiz partnership is awful. Terry needs to 'worry' more when partnered with Luiz, and therefore can't have 100% concentration like he does when playing w/Cahill.)

We need to track down Bertrand, and give him brain surgery so that he's right-footed. That's our right-back problem solved.

Ramires has just been meh.

We will pick up the intensity when we need to! Its pre-season dont expect 100% from every player.

When you think about it though, this is the exact same team as last season. We only have one creative player (Hazard) ike we did last season (Mata). We need Mata and Oscar back to pass and control the game better. Torres will help as well.

i think this is ok. think of hte team if mata was in for meireles and torres was in for lukaku.

lukaku is having a shocker to be honest. he needs to go on loan, but if he goes on loan, we need another striker (and we need to be guarenteed that lukaku will be played a lot). if we dont buy another striker, then hes got to stay.

the passing is pretty bad as well. but we all no not to judge a team by pre season performances! looks like ashley and hazard are comfortable with each other on the wing though which is good.
