BlueLyon 9,359
I must admit, I was sceptic about how small this team might be in strong league, but now I see other teams have strong players and we have the beautiful game. All these talents properly evolving and playing lot, we could have next era even better than Lamps, Drogba and Terry one. Fix the defence and attack and we are on top. Jase 43,479
This.I like the fact that he can really put the foot in ,,,,They called Solsjaer the baby faced assassin ,,,Oscar is the Baby faced ExterminatorHe really isn't afraid to get stuck in and square with another player despite his slight frame and looking lightweight. Gotta love how he owned Nani last night! RamiCFC9

Rmpr 8,977
Brazil does a pitty job in physical training. It is absolutely shameful. Our players arent weak, but they only get a decent body type when they go to Europe.Robinho, Pato and Kaka are all recent examples...Oscar has made a big statement today. HE CAN BE A VERY GOOD PIVOT IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE! Chelsea will need to make him a better physical player, he still has the "Brazilian Weak Look" in him. We know he has all the talent necessary and is not afraid of any contact. zolayes
Milan 17,956
I like how he takes the opportunity to shoot and just shoots. He can create space for his team mates but he can create space for himself to shoot. Amazing.

CHOULO19 24,332
Really changed the game yesterday, but I'm still not sold on him for the pivot role tbh. Let's not forget that utd were playing with 9 men behind the ball and relying on counters. I think he can be helpful there if we need a goal, but I would not start him there in a tough match. Strike 7,489
best moment of the game, Oscar getting in Nani's face i bet Nani was stunned about that
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I can dream of a double pivot with Oscar and KDB right now...Against weaker sides, maybe however I think we need energy, strength and a more defensive minded player like Rambo/Mikel in there. I see a lot of people here are praising Oscar's performance from a deeper position and even suggesting that should be his normal position...C'mon now, that spot should be reserved for KDB and/or Josh. Oscar is fine as a roaming no.10. CHOULO19

mediator 2,026
Oscar was better yesterday in the double pivot that he ever was as nb 10 for us.Hazard - Mata - Moses--- Oscar - Mikel/Rambo-seems betterWe saw yesterday that playing with Moses gave us more width on the pitch. meetdoscar 335
Oscar did not play in the pivot yesterday he played central midfield with ramires. I wonder what some people WATCHED!!! He should never be used in the pivot it will limit and kill his ability like mikel( 2nd best player as no. 10 behind messi in under 20 world cup. Look where messi is 6yrs later)
DH1988 1,348
^^^ Amazes me how many people are not aware that Mikel used to play a totally different position and got on his case when he didn't perform in the DM role straight away/like Maka did. Really gripes me!Back on topic - There's a piece by Redknapp on Sky Sports, and I totally agree with it, he changed the game, works so hard (which I did not expect btw) and really is one of our first names on the team sheet. Milan 17,956
For a very little moment, during the fight with Nani, I was afraid both would be sent off and Oscar wouldn't be available against Swans. Luckily...
Bir_CFC 3,455
None of our mids really play as a CDM anymore. Mikel, Lamps, Ramires are play like CMs and take turns going forward. No one player is strictly staying back as a holding player either.Should Oscar play as a CDM or a holding mid? No def, not. But the way our double pivot works, you can definitely make a case for him. However, we shouldn't just judge based on the last match. Ramires and Oscar pivot will not work against any half decent team. They are great players and can do a job as part of the 2 in the mid but def not together. Ramires is too aggressive and lacks positional discipline. Mikel and Oscar possibly can do a job against weaker teams though.Def something RDM can pull out if some teams are parking the bus and we have to add width yet not loose our attacking mentality by pushing Oscar to CM and adding Moses, instead of sacrificing one of the 3 maestros for Moses. Bir_CFC 3,455
Saw the replay of that little spat between Nani and Oscar and Nani tried to stamp Oscar in the chest. Did look like Nani tried to pull it back but surely made some contact hence why Oscar got riled up.
