i gotta be honest i have watched less than an hours worth of the GB football team all tournament. i don`t think sports like Football and Tennis should be in the Olympics. i only saw the Penalty we scored in normal time and the penalty kick from Giggs on. was more interested in the Athletics and other sports. having said all that i`ll be watching Murray and Murray/Robson in their tennis finals and cheering them on.

Team sports in general don't belong. They have their own World Cups/Championships. The presence of an Olympic tournament cheapens the value of either the event (e.g. u-23 football) or acts as a rival centre of achievement to the sports own World Cup (e.g. the cycling road race). If Vino hadn't retired instantly after winning he probably would have turned out for his next race in some garish assortment of all gold-clothes; leaving Cavendish looking a bit of a mug in his rainbow stripes (worn by the defending champion of the world).

There are some messed up sports but walking is certainly the stupidest sport ever. I mean, if you need to get away quick, your hardly gonna walk are you, it's what running is for. Very strange concept.
