Torres' inclusion there isn't that bad. He scored 3 goals and had 4 assist. In the knockout stages he was good and hasn't actually had a bad performance. Obviously, he hasn't been up to his level, but some people make it like UEFA has included Heskey, not a Champions League winner.

I can see why Torres is on the list as its done by UEFA. Torres was fantastic for us in the Group stages and then the goal that would be in all of the heads of all the Uefalona people is Torres's goal that confirmed Barcelona's exit for the CL. and then of course going on to win the Golden Boot at Euro 2012, I can fully understand Nando's inclusion.

Despicable. Cech and Drogba should be in the top 5 at least if not the top 3. Why fucking bother with this award if you're going to include league form and Euro form? May as well merge it with the FIFA Balon D'or. This should be reserved for the best player in European club competition, and none of Iniesta, Ronaldo or Messi were good enough in the CL last season to warrant that.
