SykikJV 146
Positives from the new guys and some of our young lads! :blue scalf:Hazard - Very good in dribbling and balance. Will be an exciting season for CFC having such a wonderful player.Marin - Very pacey and good in dribbling though he looks like he wants to impress RDM but little bit selfish in some moment but very good overall performanceKDB - Bit unlucky but i see him a good fit for deep-lying playmaker rather than a wide player.Josh - With his 2 assists is great and his error will do him so well that he will be more careful next time.Hutch - Solid at the back... maybe a 4th string CB for himTodd Kane - Very impressive IMO. he will be good for the future if not given oppty this seasonPiazon - He showed some good movement, maybe if he could play at his regular wide roll will do some more good.Overall it was good 1st game performance for the young lads!I can see him evolving to that position as well. I'm a Genk-fan (his previous club). He played out wide most of the time with Genk because there's wasn't a real alternative on the left side and he came into the squad in that position.Last season he ended the season in the central midfield role and really started to excel. Played like a deep-lying playmaker but also was decisive on the other end of the pitch. Journalists described him as being a level or 3 higher than the rest of players in the Belgian league at that moment. His passing and vision in that position is really good. SykikJV 146
That video highlights I posted has been taken down. Found another one here..http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xs944t_seattle-sounders-chelsea-footyroom-com_animalsIs there a video available with, next to the goals, the highlights of the game? Would love to see De Bruyne in action.
Nic! 301
Good to see Lukaku scoring. As a striker that's his only job. Torres played lots of good games last season, but didn't score. Lukaku might play shite for 90 minutes, but if he scores two he still outperformed Torres.
Zakhar 13
It was interesting match!!!Hazard was very good as Lukaku!!!good work from De Bruyne,Piazon and McEachran!!!Dissapointing for Kakuta.Marin wanted to score so much so he was too selfish sometimes. But you can`t say anything for sure from first pre seasson match. Emmanuelpee 12
i would bet any amount i own that barring injury, hazard will start vs Wigan. Marin was amazing and surpasses my expectations as he was sort of under the raydar, but Hazard's everything was a joy to watch, literally i can't wait. Marin has given himself a great chance, his biggest problem is that 2 of th 3 spots he could play are taken (mata and hazard), i would give him a go, but it depends who else we bring in... Yeah...same here from my own point of tactical and tevhnical analysis
Mustafa 885
Kevin DB usually needs a bit of time to get his level up, Long passes and shots is one of his specialties normally,Check some of these goals out: Exciting times for Chelsea, especially if you're Belgian as well. Edit: seems I've got to get up in an hour and a half. Better just do all nighter then. He's alot better than i thought! And i always thought of him as a more Xavi-like midfielder with the long balls. But the guy has skill and he can SHOOT! I guess he was just unlucky last night :blue scalf:

Alfp26 59
I have found in Rojadirecta some links for downloading the full match in high quality. I don't know if they are the same as the ones of the download section here because I can't access it yet, but just in case here is the link to the page for those who want to watch it again: :blue scalf:http://forum.rojadirecta.es/showthread.php?174913-FUTBOL-Amistoso-Seattle-Sounders-vs.-Chelsea-18-07-2012

ZanSnake 1,211
Hutchinson and Cahill had an amazing connection during their cameo partnership! I was superbly happy by that, and i think Sam should be our second choice RB and third CB, and Ivan to be our RB. He didn't command the backline, nor did Hilario, which made us vulnerable and Seattle took advantage of! I am so amazed at the level he can play at, tbh, despite the fact it was a friendly.Lulu showed his prowess, and i think it could be a good indication of him trying to show his worth - which he did! Leif 6,006
Currently re-watching the game.I'm concerned about the lack of play through the middle. Hazard was certainly not on the ball enough. We also barely pressed, and instead of making tackles, usually waited for them to make an iffy pass.Impressed by Benayoun when central, and if Marin had more composure and less selfishness in the match, he may have been my MOTM.Mikel my Flop Of The Match. TheCount 146
Anyone eles feel that the second half team was a far better balanced side then the 1st half, sure the 1st was exciting but had huge flaws, the second half team looked more like a side in the premiership, now some kind of hybrid between the 2 and we'll destroy anyone, keep the small players to a minimum but keep the most creative, marin/hazard/ or mata/rami etc etc and vice versa, anno its only early days but looking at city and the second half team with essien and lamps its clear we need height in the midfield as well as creativity.Looks really impressive tho well happy with hazard and marin!! cannot fathom how oscar or any other small players will work tho as well but i cud see them working as back ups defo. If we can carry the flair from the first half and combine it with the solidity of the second, we're onto a winner.
Leif 6,006
Oh by the way - I never realised Hazard had so much pace!I feel he'd be much better on the wing, but unfortunately, I feel Mata will be placed on the wing with Hazard central to keep him happy.I also believe Mata's a better passer, while Hazard's the better dribbler.Hopefully RDM does what's right. I was actually impressed by how well the team pressed in the second half consider the low levels of fitness.
