Spike 12,049
Not all players lived up to their hype. Who do you think wasted their potential and talent? For me the biggest offender is Antonio Cassano. The man is a magician on the ball, one of the best dribblers I have ever seen and possibly one of the best of all time. Poor temperment and a childish attitude ruined a fantastic career. His first Serie A goal. Crazy tricks.
manpe 10,861
Robinho hasn't lived up to his hype, but he's still good. Adriano, Bogarde come to mind. Giovani dos Santos and Royston Drenthe, once biggest prospects around, have fallen into abyss.

You do realise that Ireland isn't the only country that is sterotyped as being alcoholics, don't you? Why, my nationalilty is usually classed are dumb, drunk and racist, or to role into a nice bundle, I've been called a British Redneck.I'm sorry I offended you, but don't take any assumptions about my life, okay? capriccioso 2,545
More on Cherno Samba:http://www.guardian....ewsstory.sport5He was supposed to be the spearhead of England's assault on the 2006 World Cup. Such was the hyperbole surrounding 14-year-old Cherno Samba that during one weekend four years ago he knocked all the established Premiership stars off the back pages. The tabloid frenzy around the wunderkind from Peckham was matched only by that of agents looking to get a slice of the most sought-after English talent of his generation. I've said I'm sorry, so no more off topic discussion.
