Anyway. Its always a popularity contest. Alexander Arnold shouldnt be in, personally I think Wan Bissaka has been better, probably one of the break out players of the season in that regard too but City and Liverpool are in the title race so what do you expect. Yep. Not so sure about Bissaka though. He is monster defensively, but his ball control and attacking ability is frankly said shit. For example, he wouldnt be suitable for attacking team at all.

His attacking play is not shit, its pretty decent... could do with work on final ball but theres a reason us, Man United, Man City, Spurs and whoever else have all been linked with him. Hes good defensively yes and ranks for most tackles in PL (or is it Europe) IIRC but his attacking play certainly isnt shit. I think potentially here (obviously with work in the team) or at a Liverpool or a City he would be very good in an offensive capacity and a big issue because hes so quick and can beat people 1 on 1 too. I actually hope none of City, Liverpool Arsenal, Spurs or United go for him and Chillwell. They would be some full back pairing.

I have seen Palace play a couple times and his on the ball ability is nothing special. If people think Azpi isnt good enough going forward, then this guy certainly isnt either. But he is much faster. He is absolutely superb defender though, his timing of the tackles is great and marking too. Using shit word for his attacking ability was bit uncalled for, but he definately isnt good enough for Sarri type fullback. Chilwell is great though, Id pick him over Bissaka any day (for left side obviously). Bissaka is going to be great fullback, thats why many are interested. But he doesnt suit in our system, nor in City or Pool. Unless we are prepared to push all the attacking load to our left side once again and just have defensively solid RB, no point in buying Bissaka. cosmicway 1,078
It's a crime equivalent to Jack the Ripper if they let Eden go. The thing to do with this man is abduct him and throw away the key. Look at Barca. Messi is their top player, 12 years now. It's a remarkable feat for any football player, especially for an attacker. Heve you seen Barca lately ? Ernesto Valverde is into rotation and when Messi is not playing the team is shite. With Messi gone, Barcelona will win their next primera title after 85 years. This man (Eden Hazard) must n't go. We were lucky because when Didier and Lamps were on their way out we found Eden Hazard. Obviously we have to find a new Hazard sooner or later, or we become a mid-table side. But as things stand we cannot finish higher than 8th-9th next season if he goes.
BlueLyon 9,359
The club should find his replacements way sooner like Liverpool did with Coutinho. He left, but they had Salah, Mane, Firmino. People say we will become more of a team and play better. But who will lead us? Pedro? Willian? Inexperienced CHO or Pulisic? You are taking a piss if you think Eden departure will make us better. We dont have players that underperform because of Eden. And then they will unleash their true potential once Eden leaves. Nonsense. If anything this team overperforms because of him. If Eden left, maybe with quality striker, at least his regular goals would get us out of shit, but we dont even have that. I think Eden departure is inevitable, but I hope for a miracle that he stays.

With this current group of players, take Hazard out of the team and it will make a huge difference in my opinion for the worse because we just don't have the all round quality at present. There is the possibility that a couple of players may "step up" in Hazard's absence. There is no doubts that when we're chasing a game or trying to find a winner that the team play almost on autopilot at times in getting the ball to Hazard and expecting him to do something. I think players like Barkley and RLC have the right mentality to try and take on more responsibility in driving the team forward should Hazard leave, but neither will replicate his output and raw stats (not to mention completely different roles within the team). Same with Willian, he may be improved in a regular role on the left and we may possibly get more out of him but it won't be anywhere near the level we have had from Hazard. The biggest issue to address is a striker. Hazard shouldn't be relied upon to be the main source of goals at the club, his goals should be a fine supporting act to a striker scoring 18-20 a season. We will not replace Hazard if we try to in my opinion. His skill set is extremely unique. What we can do is share his responsibilities out throughout the squad but we still need more quality overall for this.

He leaves we still finish no worse than 6th. Even without him our team is still better than the states Liverpool and Spurs got themselves in a few years back and they always finished top 6/7 apart from one exception with Liverpool. It would have made sense to hope that Hazard stays if the board was building / re-building for the future because someone like Hazard is the integral part of the setup/transition However currently we arent doing anything on those lines, infact the team/board/manager everyone are piggy banking on Hazard to pull them out and win things. In the current situation, for Hazard who is in his prime and with Madrid along with Zidane calling he has to go. Yes we will crumble and the board needs to feel that pain to start acting and it is high time that we find our new Hazard. I dont mind finishing outside of the top 4 for the next 2 seasons if we can ensure that the next 4 seasons we win more than 3 titles & are fighting it out on all level to be the number 1. MCM4PR3Z 409
The Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws says it is certain now that Hazard will play his last (EPL) home game on Stamford Bridge today. Hazard has a deal with Real Madrid and Chelsea grants him his transfer for the right amount, and both clubs are getting closer to a deal. He and his family will walk around the field after the game to thank the fans for the wonderful time at Chelsea.
