I thank him so much for the memories and for everything he did for the club in his 7 years here, i wish he could stay, but he has earned the right to go to Madrid, amazing player and human being, it was a pleasure and an honor to watch him play in a Chelsea shirt, he will always be a blue no matter what, Chelsea legend for sure. Farewell Eden and goodluck to you in your new adventure, all the best to him and his family. Cheers and KTBFFH always

:wub::clap::worship2::cry: ❤️🏆🥇

We will miss him badly but we are not really a complete team that need sprinkle of magic. We still have flaws in our first 11.

If we spend the money wisely I believe we will be a better team next season

If we can :-( if not a years time hurrah.

Least he hasn't left under a dark cloud. Its a happy ending and the send off he deserved. Just a shame to see such a key player go but gotta end sometime I guess.

Hazard may perform quick for Real look how quick Real fans turn on you look at Courtois for example and bale who's won them Champions League's sometimes it's better staying where you are look at Sanchez at arsenal he was excellent for them joined utd and turned into Torres Syndrome

He has scored so many wonderful goals, that there are goals not included which I would have there. His once against Stoke in 2013, when we thumped them 4-0 at the Britannia was world class. That was his weaker foot and from around 30 yards out. Would arguably have that up there. That Newcastle one was my favourite though, in which he got his hattrick. The second goal to be precise, when he played that one-two with Eto'o is my favourite goal. Will never get bored of watching that.

Really pleased for him that he's had the opportunity to go out the way he has with this win. He's been a great player and a great servant for this football club and I've no problem with his desire for a new challenge and 'dream' of playing for Real Madrid.

He should find the Spanish league far easier to play in than over here, although the demands from that crowd will be a completely new experience for him. I think he already realises that he won't have the same level of love and appreciation over there than he enjoys here but its obvious in his mind if he didn't play for Madrid in his career he'd probably regret it come the end of it.

Even if the ban is overturned we have to make sure we don't try and replace him with another talismanic figure. I would far rather this team be built into a much stronger unit where we are far less reliant on one or two players (as is the case in recent times with Hazard and Kante). Going in for one big player (like Coutinho for example) is not the right plan in my opinion.
