Jase 43,479
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/sep/27/eden-hazard-chelsea-better-ronaldo-messi-ross-barkley-worlds-best Eden Hazard has given Chelsea hope he could be persuaded to sign a new contract by crediting Maurizio Sarri and the club’s new signings with his outstanding early season form. The Belgium international has entered the final two years of his deal and denied reports a new contract will be announced next week. “I haven’t signed a contract,” he said after sealing Chelsea’s Carabao Cup win at Liverpool on Wednesday. “Not yet, not yet.” Real Madrid remain likely suitors but the 27-year-old said this summer the calibre of Chelsea’s signings would influence his decision and he has highlighted their impact – and that of Sarri – on his form. Hazard, who has scored six goals in seven games for Chelsea, said: “You see [what has changed] on the pitch. We have different players, players we didn’t have last season, players who like to have the ball. We have more possession than before. The attacking players benefit from that. We get more touches, more opportunities to create chances, to dribble more, more chances to shoot on target. “Sarri is a manager who likes to have the ball. That makes a big difference. Besides that, he’s an Italian. Just like under [Antonio] Conte there’s a lot of tactics and we have to work hard in training. I don’t feel like saying that I didn’t have any freedom under my previous managers. Conte and [José] Mourinho also let me do what I wanted in the last third. That’s why I could excel under them too. Defensively I know what I have to do.” manpe

I loved Dider and Lamps growing up but Hazard is just that much more special to me at least. I have to agree. Hazard for me is also the most exciting Chelsea player I've seen, there is no contest in that. Also in general he's one of the most exciting players I've seen of any team, on par somewhere with Ronaldinho (he takes the top spot for me) and Messi and maybe United's Ronaldo. Brazilian Ronaldo was one of the most exciting players I've ever seen . Too bad persistent injuries slowed him down

Basically it's a black guy with his phone and he's at the gala with Kante and Hazard. He says" i'm on the stage with some champions" and he pans the camera towards Kante and goes "number one" and then he pans to Hazard and before can say anything Hazard just looks at him with a straight face and goes "number one also" and then they all burst out laughing. Have some respect, that’s Big Shaq.

Rapkun 668
I think the World Cup gave him a lot of confidence. Proved himself as one of the best players in the world at the biggest stage. He's really a different player now. I think he used to feel inferior or lacked total confidence in his ability because of his past failures at UCL and WC. He probably didn't consider himself to be up there with the very very best until now.
Blue Armour 4,710
Honestly don't care about these Madrid rumors/speculation. Rather focus on the now. Hazard is happy and both him and Chelsea are performing. And for anyone getting nervous..remember,.. in the past two decades we've been through the Zola era, the Lampard era, the Drogba era . Right now we're in the Hazard era.

As good as Hazard is he'll never be as good as Franco in my opinion. Bare in mind Zola came to us when he was 30 and was brilliant from day one plus what footballer could do this when they're 37. https://youtu.be/cxw5mKtS2dc Unionjack and Vesper
MCM4PR3Z 411
The story is very incomplete. He says he always dreamt of Spain and that's why he wanted to leave first in the summer. But he had a good conversation with the new manager so he decided he wanted to give it a chance and he is very happy that he stayed now. He loves the club, the city and the fans and it's a big part of his life that he couldn't miss. You never know what the future brings, but he is very happy in Chelsea and maybe will renew his contract. The interview is very positive about Chelsea, but if you only pick the wrong parts you can create a lot of unnecessary drama indeed. Long story short, he said the same things he's always said - I love Chelsea, I might sign a new contract but I also might leave bla bla bla. It's gotten beyond silly at this point.
