🇧🇪 Eden Hazard

It's a cynical marketing ploy by Nike to make gullible Chelsea fans buy their boots. I would very much doubt Hazard has any say on the design Nike gives him a shitload of dosh he'd wear anything they offered up and going by the hideous boots players where these days that could mean any colour any design. I know it's a long time ago but people pissed themselves when Alan Ball wore white boots in the 70's.

Hope he's enjoying life in Madrid with his mate Courtois:)

João Félix made him look ordinary overall, he shredded RM like a soggy weetabix biscuit

Real's MF and backs looked fucked

He is clearly out of shape by a mile.

And he is worse every summer. But he picks it up in the fall, so he should be all good.

Which is why selling him around 28 was great. This boy at 30 lol podgy arse that will struggle to get fitter in time.

It's hard to tell but I'd wager there's a significant chance he falls of the cliff physically speaking. Like Rio ferdinand

I (not so) secretly wish for Real Madrid to fail on all fronts, so that Hazard becomes to regret going there. Like when someone breaks up with you and you secretly wish that her new partner is a loser, so she regrets dumping you. :P

Eden is a good boy, gave his best to Chels and left with a good feel factor, even now he pays Chels homage. He is a Blue all the way, he just wanted to taste RM with Zidane at the helm. He always was fond of them, but something tells me he will regret it in the future. He was a king here and on his way to become maybe an all time legend or very close to it, he wont receive 1/3 of the adulation in RM....more likely he gets abused actually if he doesnt perform. I have no ill will towards him, left with a smile and gave us 7 years. I would love to play RM and smack the shit out of them though.

If Hazard went to Liverpool and left us on good terms, I should be kind to him?

But he didn't did he just your usual half arsed logic. Hazard left after giving seven years service and would be welcome back by all proper Chelsea fans not ones who hold petty vendettas.

Because next season due to the transfer ban, we needed him more than ever.

Just because he left on good terms doesn’t mean I should be kind to him. If Hazard went to Liverpool and left us on good terms, I should be kind to him?

Anyway I’m not going to wish him the best because I am not a fan of Real Madrid (and Barca) and if that club does well, so does Courtois the snake.

Hazard could have left us after 3 years but signed a new deal commiting his prime years to us. He could have been more persistent with his desires in 2018 but instead respected the clubs stance and agreed to play a season of Europa League footy (a tournament he's far too good for).

He owes us nothing, the transfer ban is our fault not his.

That is because Madrid weren’t really looking at him at the time when they have quality players already in Hazard’s position. If RM came calling like they did this time, he would have gone.

Last season, we still held all the cards to be fair. And Zidane left the club as well.

Had he not signed a new deal in 2015 he would have had two years left on his deal, that would have most certainly attracted a lot of interest and he could have had the pick of a lot of clubs if he choose. Also IIRC Real were playing 4231 at the time, he would have sloted in to the 10 like a glove.

As for last year, the only reason we had good cards is because Hazard himself respected the clubs stance, had he got a bit more persistent and forceful we would have been in a very tricky situation.
