Maybe im seeing things, idk.   But you can tell easily that he is by far our best player. I think Conte is just being conservative with him because he know his importance to our team hence he will probably start on the bemch against Arsenal The Skipper and Blue-in-me-Veins

He will get there. He always does. Even with him being out of shape, he looked a different class against Leciester. You can tell immediately he is the best player on the pitch. The Skipper 20,609
Tears in my eyes, oh how I’ve missed a good Eden performance. What a game. Little genius!  nachikethas and OhForAGreavsie

zakhov 253
The way he holds off challenges and snakes past players, top class. Musonda did well too but he should be looking at Hazard for how to deal when the opponent tries to gets physical on you. Not saying that Forest were overly physical, but Hazard is the benchmark for similar players who want to play with flair against physical opponents. He's proven it in the top flight against stronger and larger opponents (almost like Kante), makes it look so easy. Brilliant and smart on/off the ball and deceivingly strong as well. If Musonda can develop further and be anywhere near to Hazard in this aspect, we're pretty much set for years to come. King11Didier

But for the most part international tournament has been about play ultra defensive or ultra possession football, and hopefully you can score goals. So how is their defending ?
El P. 1,354
His long passing is really underrated. Milan 17,997
There are some parts that may sound surprising... Eden Hazard’s portrait of his ideal player: Terry’s leadership and Benteke’s headinghttps://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/sep/26/eden-hazards-portrait-of-an-ideal-player-terrys-leadership-and-bentekes-heading?CMP=share_btn_tw Quote I would take the free kicks of Juninho [Pernambucano]. In training, I can take them not badly, but as soon as I get to the game, I’m not focused, be it corners, free kicks … That’s why I do not get many. I shoot as if I were in my backyard, but still need some concentration. But I cannot! Quote I do not like to talk. For the national team, I am captain but I say nothing. I do my talking with the ball, on the ground... When I am a captain, I say to myself: ‘What am I going to say?’ I should be able to but I cannot. And there is no question of forcing myself. We have an explanation why he is not taking any free kick.
