Man City is much smarter than Chelsea in transfer market.

They got David Silva for 24m and we was chasing Modric for 40m. They got Aguero for 38m and we got Torres for 50m....

Back when Jose was in charge we had a fee agreed with Navas but when he traveled to London for the medicals he had a serious bout of homesickness and had to go back to Sevilla as quickly as possible.

Also the Homesickness causes him to Anxiety attacks and possible seizures.

What has Hulk actually done to warrant a huge price? The portuguese league is wank, Porto were worse than shit in the Champions League and i've never really heard any amazing words about him. Maybe if the portuguese league was aired a bit more i could see him but he's hardly in Spain or Italy scoring 25 goals a season.

Fair point but if Ronaldo was never picked up because he was playing in the Portuguese league then would he have helped United to so many trophies?

He may be playing in the Portuguese league but so was Rambo and so was Luiz. If we don't buy a ticket we can't win the lottery.

As for his price that's just how the market is now. Any half decent player is gonna command a huge fee and that fee is multiplied when Chelsea come-a-knocking.

Man Utd didn't spend £50m on Ronaldo tho did they. Ronaldo was just a young talent at 16-17 years of age, Ferguson took a punt and it worked out for them amazingly. He's one of a rare breed that just turn out to be unbelievable.

i dont think most of you saw hulk playing, just youtube videos. he has a lot of talent to be explored but he is almost 26 already. if you think d.luiz is dumb playing you should watch hulk, most of the time he just runs withouth passing the ball and shoots the ball to outside the stadium. 25-30M is a decent price but i dont see him being a great star in chelsea. falcao was a much better option.

edit: porto would never sell him under 40M most of their fans dream of 50-70M
