middleoftheshed 388
Are the tickets sent out to you via recorded delivery ....because if they do genuinely post them to me but I don't get them in time will they still waive the £5 fee ?Only cup finals/semi-finals are sent out recorded. All other tickets are just first class. It has happened to me before and there was no fee.

It's really not something you need to worry about, its unlikely you wont get them in time and if you don't just call and explain. The member log in page is very simple, just has your details, linked memberships, loyalty points and tickets currently on sale. That is how many points you will earn if you buy a ticket. Points required to buy one can usually be found on the 'more information' page. Only the big games require any points to buy a ticket. One more thing to the list of endless questionsWhen actually buying the tickets if i have my bro saved as a family/friend.Do I go into Buy tickets OR do i go into friends/family and there is a option that says select/remove and it has my details on there and his do i select both then hit Get TicketsYou go to buy tickets, select how many you want in the stand you want and then assign a member to each ticket on the next page. captainjt26 106
Ok my brother is your typical skint lad and I was wondering is it possible if I buy his membership for him with my debit card and then he can edit his billing info so he is in full control with his membership and has his credit card tied to it. When you actually buy the membership the address you put will have to match the one linked to the card your using but this can be changed at any time. I let people use my membership all the time and as long as they change all the details to their own its fine.

captainjt26 106
I tend to find when buying tickets on ticketmaster if you are online 10 mins before the sale and constantly hitting F5 to refresh the page you can get tickets for most concerts and stuff with ease.As a member if you do the same for the dates of when tickets go on sale is it pretty easy to get a pair of tickets if you are bang on when they go for sale ....(Is there a specific time the tickets go on sale all I see mentioned are dates only)Do you need to pay a additional fee at all when purchasing tickets like a processing fee or is there a postage fee ?When they do post them out to you does it come up dispatched on your my account page ....for away games its the same process I assume. The bottom line on all these are that the club have confirmed that tickets are sold on a random basis- whereby there is no queue as such, your IP address is just randomly selected and you can go through to buy tickets. The page refreshes itself. As I have said it is done randomly, there have been times when I have had to wait 3 minutes, other times when I have had to wait 45 minutes. It is probably best to be online before 7 though just in case your computer is running slowly or playing up, especially for away games when we only have a couple of thousand tickets to sell.Tickets go on sale at 7AM. If there is a cup game or for whatever reason a short selling time then the club will announce it on the website and say stuff likeFrom 7-10:30 members with 45 loyalty points can purchase a ticketFrom 11-12:30 members with 37 loyalty points can purchase a ticketIt is generally pretty easy if you are online at 7AM. I have had to go to work sometimes and got home at 5 and still got tickets (its not worth chancing though, it only works for games against Wigan, Reading etc. and you end up with rubbish seats). For bigger games there is more demand but you should still be OK.There is a £1.50 admin fee added to the cost of each ticket but this includes the postage fee. For cup semis/finals tickets are sent out via special delivery and the £1.50 admin fee is waived. No they don't say if they have dispatched the tickets. You get a confirmation email and 9/10 times they arrive in the next 3 or so days. Yes for away games it is an almost identical process. The only difference is you can't choose a specific seat like you sort of can for home games. You can choose a category like category A or cheaper category B if the away team offers different pricing/seating ranges and then you just pay as normal. Demand is high for a lot of away games so getting a ticket is sometimes more difficult.

When you say it refreshes itself does a timer come up at all saying within 8 minutes like you sometimes get on ticketmaster. I know what you mean about you could be waiting 3 or 45 minutes ...most times I get it bang on time on TM others im on time but in a 18 minute queue that tells you not to refresh !7am gotcha superb I was trying to find information on the actual timing the tickets go on sale but could not see it anywhere ..good to know Nice one I assume its just standard Royal Mail that send them out and I should receive them within 2 weeks of purchasing. So for home games do you have a seat viewer a bit like Viagogo then. You mention away games can be hard ...how hard is spurs away Whilst we are on the topic of Viagogo ticket exchange. Say I bought a pair of tickets at stage 1 of the standard CFC ticketing process (linked with my bro account) . Can I then buy tickets on viagogo too for mates ....is there a limit per member or could I just buy a couple with my account (non-linked) even though i bought some at the actual official sale. I think it refreshes once every 30 seconds or something. It doesn't have a timer or place in the queue indicator. Pretty useless really.Yeah they just arrive by Royal Mail, usually pretty quick. Might take a day or so longer considering you are in Scotland. Nope its nothing like Viagogo really. To say it is awful is an understatement. You can choose your stand, tier and side (e.g. Matthew Harding lower east side, East upper north side) and then you are randomly assigned a seat. It will give you the seat, row etc. and if you want a different one you need to go back and select the same area again. It is tedious and awful. You won't have to go back into the virtual waiting room or anything but you sometimes have to try several times to get a decent seat.Spurs away is virtual waiting room carnage mate! Erm not sure on that one. Never used viagogo
