didierforever 7,349 Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 i think he himself made it clear what we are doing with him. this is his 3rd year in CFC, so as to make him classify him as homegrown (cl-wise). also he has been doing great in the reserves and the CL-youth league. honestly i feel playing in youth-CL in 100 times better than playing in a championship side. Although I'm surprised he hasn't looked at utilising him, Swift or Baker as a 5th option in midfield now MVG's out for the season. He's been playing at CB since then and will continue to play there. Oh, and he is certainly not solution to all our problems. He's always played at CB before last season. He might move to CM in the future due to his lack of physical attributes, but he is hardly the solution to our current problems at CM. Ake has something called legs...Something essien, lampard nor mikel have. He can actually press and win/intercept balls. he would put less pressure for rambo to do all the legwork along with oscar.
