Reserves In Monday Night Action

Chelsea's reserve team plays a home match tonight (Monday) against Reading.

The game is at Brentford's Griffin Park with a 7pm kick-off. Admission is £5 for adults, £3 for oaps/juvs, free to season ticket holders.

The game will be broadcast live on Chelsea TV.

a very even game so far with no maor chances - our best was probably a tame shot by Younghusband. I've been impressed with van Aarnholt in defence. Pizarro making countless errors.

Half time and we are 0-0 and I'd say we are shading it so far. Shevchenko had the best chance but his shot was crowded out.

Why's everyone so determined to see Sheva score? I'd much rather see one of the young lads get a goal that might actually do something good at Chelsea one day.

Of the three strikers I'd say Pizarro has been the sharper, with di Santo and Shevchenko not at the races so far.

In the space of 10 seconds Pizarro had a shot cleared off the line and Shevchenko almost got on the end of a good ball!
