Steve 10,227
TopToon from NewcastleUnited-mad.co.uk has kindly answered some questions on tonights very important Premier League encounter. If Chelsea can get a win at home and we see Tottenham slip up away at Bolton, Chelsea could be back too 4th by nights end.- Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to answer the questions. We will start the interview with an easy question, how long have you supported Newcastle United for? 30 odd years.- As a Newcastle fan you must be over the moon with how well you have been playing this season! Pushing for a Champions League spot is quite an achievement and must of been a little unexpected, tell us a bit about it. From here on in we have nothing to lose. The season has been fantastic and beyond our wildest dreams. We are back in Europe - CL is very unlikely but our job is done already this season, even with 3 games to go. I will not be disappointed if we don't make CL.- Newcastle had a big loss to Wigan on the weekend, was it just a bad day in the office or was it more then that? Combination of bad day at the office (we were very flat) and a brilliant performance by Wigan. Their passing and running into space was top drawer and know they wouldve given any team in England a hard game that day. Im reasonably confident well bounce back well on Wednesday as we have before after heavy defeats this season.- What are your thoughts on Fernando Torres, he has been playing some great football for Chelsea in recent weeks and in slowly finding form again, do you think he will continue scoring for us? Biggest waste of money ever (even more than Carroll). Hes started doing the basics again recently - just because hes now doing what most other Premiership strikers have been doing all season everyone is creaming themselves, just because its Torres. He has a long way to go to remove the joke tag (sorry but, my opinion).- Looking at your current squad, which player has been your stand out player this season and if you had to choose one player that you think would make an impact at Chelsea would would it be? Very hard question to answer. I think you should buy Danny Simpson from us.- If you had to pick one Chelsea player to join Newcastle, who would it be and for what reason? Last time you asked this, I said Drogba. Now I think Cech - hes top class although so is our keeper.- The last time we met Chelsea got a very important away win, do you think you can do the same to us at Stamford Bridge? Who will Score and what will the final score be? At St JamesPark we were the victim of a shocking refereeing decision in the first few minutes when Luiz shouldve been sent off for hauling down Ba when he was the last man. Forgetting that, I think you were the stronger side. If we hadnt played so badly v Wigan, Id be more confident, but like I say, I think well bounce back: 1-1. Ba and Drogba. Madmax 9,219
For the last time - Ba was offside, the Luiz 'incident' is rendered irrelevant.
