Also, iran attacked and invaded no one? In the past few years alone (without even going back in the decades where iran did much more of this stuff), Iran has literally invaded, attacked and is now controlling lebanon, iraq, yemen and more, what planet are you living on lol?

Jacobin is a fairly pure socialist magazine that skews far further left than many that this listing places to its left. They 'settle' for Bernie Sanders but often critique him for not being 'left'  (ie. actually socialist) enough, something that many of the sources that that are placed to its left do not do. They are also pretty hostile to Elizabeth Warren overall, which is again a stance not shared by many of the further-left placed sources.

The American Conservative, despite its name, actually is very contrarian and anti empiric war than many of the so-called mainstream sources it places to its left, so it depends on what issue is being placed on a so-called left/right paradigm and/or continuum (I often do not subscribe to much of that as there is much ambiguity evidenced on multiple occasions over multiple subjects)

Also, Patribotics is listed as ultra left, when it is run by the crackpot, drug-addled ex-Tory MP Louise Mensch (who still leans quite right wing on many stances), and is nothing more than a tonne of conspiracy theory claptrap and lies, and really has no true 'left' leanings at all, it basic is one giant RUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAA did it ALL pile of tosh.

Politico is also much further to the so-called right than it is listed as. It often pushes RW tropes and memes, albeit in a more subtle fashion than many of the acknowledged outright RW sources.

Missiles launched by Iran against US airbases in Iraq

Iran has launched missile strikes aimed at US troops in Iraq in what it said was retaliation for the killing last week of the top Iranian general Qassem Suleimani.

 

The Pentagon confirmed that al-Asad airbase in Iraq’s Anbar province, and Erbil base in northern Iraq, which both host a US contingent, had been hit by a salvo of more than a dozen missiles launched from Iran.

 

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), of which Suleimani was a member, issued a statement saying: “The brave soldiers of IRGC’s aerospace unit have launched a successful attack with tens of ballistic missiles on Al Assad military base in the name of martyr General Qassem Suleimani.”

 

It has started! Seems like things will now escalate from here on to full on war.....
