While I enjoyed seeing them all lose/get knocked out, am I the only one who feels ashamed for the EPL? This is getting embarrassing for English football...

Not for me thanks. Laughed like fuck at watching Spurs and Liverpool getting sent packing. In the EPL I am bothered about one thing and one thing only.....Chelsea. Fuck the lot of them- The FA, City, United, Spurs the fucking lot of them.

While I have nothing against Martinez or Everton, I think it's ridiculous people are suggesting Everton will win Europa League. They will be knocked out by next round.

Not necessarily. They have quality for Europa League.

It may be a very stupid question and you might laugh at me but I take my chance:

Why is EL called Europa League, not Europe League? What's the difference?

It sounding better is the only thing that comes to mind. It is also the Spanish word for Europe.

Because Satan and The Fallen Angels Run and Controls The EUROPEAN UNION (EU) and THE ILLUMINATI Who Own and Run UEFA and UCL and UEL.

Europa commonly refers to:

· Europa (mythology), a Phoenician princess in Greek mythology, from whom the name of the continent Europe is taken

· Europa (moon), one of Jupiter's largest moons, named after the Phoenician noblewoman

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_(mythology) Phoenician princess in Greek mythology, from whom the name of the continent Europe is taken

In Greek mythology Europa (/jʊˈrpə, jə-/; Greek: Εὐρώπη Eurṓpē; Doric Greek: Εὐρώπα Eurṓpā) was a Phoenicianwoman of high lineage, for whom the continent Europe was named. The story of her abduction by Zeus in the form of a white bull was a Cretan story; as Kerényi points out "most of the love-stories concerning Zeus originated from more ancient tales describing his marriages with goddesses. This can especially be said of the story of Europa".

Europa's earliest literary reference is in the Iliad, which is commonly dated to the 8th century B.C. Another early reference to her is in a fragment of the Hesiodic Catalogue of Women, discovered at Oxyrhynchus The earliest vase-painting securely identifiable as Europa, dates from mid-7th century B.C.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_(moon) , one of Jupiter's largest moons, named after the Phoenician noblewoman

Europa i/jʊˈrpə/[9] (Jupiter II), is the sixth-closest moon of the planet Jupiter, and the smallest of its four Galilean satellites, but still the sixth-largest moon in the Solar System. Europa was discovered in 1610 by Galileo Galilei. Progressively better observations of Europa have occurred over the centuries by Earth-bound telescopes, and by space probe flybys starting in the 1970s.

Europa was initially a Cretan moon goddess, who was incorporated into the Greek mythology as a virgin Phoenician princess. She was the daughter of the King Agenor of Sidon and Europe was named after her.

She had an affair with Zeus, which Hera never learned about and therefore, never tried to pursue Europa dreamed of two continents, which had taken the forms of women, arguing over her. Asia maintained that since Europa to her. Disturbed by the dream, Europa, who was the prettiest of the maidens. According to some sources, Eros induced him into action with one of his arrows, although Zeus never really needed much persuasion. In any case, Zeus appeared to the group in the form of a white bull, one that was more beautiful than any other; a bull that smelled of flowers and lowed beautifully; a bull so obviously gentle that all the maidens rushed to stroke and pet it. The bull laid down in front of Europa saw that a procession had joined them, Nereids riding dolphins, Triton blowing his horn, even Poseidon. From this, she realized that the bull must be a god and she pleaded to pity her. Zeus spoke to her and explained his love. He took her to Crete, where he had been raised, and promised her that she would bear him many famous sons. Her sons included Minos and Rhadamanthus.

Thank you, but it's EL because only European(or to be more accurate UEFA-members) teams can play there, it clearly has nothing to do with Europa moon or prince. Why did they decided to name it Europa League then?

That's a real mistery :D

Why is the Champions League called the Champions league when ................????

Good one :)

"1st-4th League" would sound bad. Also, it would be pretty hard to find 32 European champion team. I wouldn't be flattered if I had to watch our the Hungarian and the Bosnian champion instead of Barca and Real..

Now it's your turn to answer mine :D
