Fuck yeah my home town team, first live Chelsea game for me since Chelsea Spurs in 2016!

I live in England! Everyone here supporting Olympiakos too!

There is much need. Much need indeed. Liverpool fans have to be the most annoying, entitled bunch of twats to exist. A little dose of this reality would serve them well if they weren't so delusional.

Honestly why should West Ham be in the CL based on one fluke season? It is still merit based if you award teams who are consistently playing at higher level. Teams like West Ham are too volatile, one season they may push for push for top 4 and next season they may struggle to stay at the PL level.

I dont care, in what world does udt deserve CL if they end up 6th place? Thats not merit, thats favourism. If they can adjust ESL the right way so we can bypass cunts like uefa and sky etc then so be it.

How is it favoritism if United have performed better than West Ham over a period time? That is another way of rewarding based on merit, and that is favoring consistency over outlier.

There's going to be some pretty tasty atmosphere's when the 'dirty half dozen'  rock up to away grounds next season.

Utd at Leeds will be extra naughty.

Im confused now, your saying if WH end at 4th and udt at 6th, and if udt have performed better through that said season then they are deserving of getting CL though they ended at 6th? If so then its favourism.

I am saying for example if over a period of 5 years Man United performed better than West Ham then they should be in the CL, and if vice versa was true than West Ham should be in the CL.

I think it makes sense to grant CL qualifications based on some historical data, it has merit and it rewards the clubs that are most consistent.

With all due respect such an idea is flawed, for one it is heaven for them cunt owners at udt etc......you either land in top 4 or win the CL or EL, otherwise no entrance should happen, thats merit mate. Just because you hav done well in CL does not mean you get a free ride. Uefa's proposal is horseshit.

European Super League: La Liga president Javier Tebas calls for greater financial controls on clubs like Man City and PSG

Tebas declares Super League "dead" amid insistence from Real Madrid and Barcelona that the project remains necessary; Tebas says that La Liga are not planning any punishment for El Clasico sides or Atletico Madrid

Manchester City were among six English clubs which signed up to the breakaway league on Sunday, while PSG rejected the opportunity to be involved, before it quickly fell through under global pressure from fans and politicians.

Tebas appeared to suggest that many of the teams who signed up for the breakaway league may have been motivated by their struggles to match the financial clout of City, who are owned by United Arab Emirates deputy prime minister, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and PSG, who are owned by Qatar Sports Investments.

"State-owned clubs like Man City and PSG - these clubs need to face some controls," Tebas said during a virtual news conference on Thursday. "They haven't done anything outrageous so far, but we will see."

Cry me a river Ilkay.. You earn 140,000 pounds a week, nobody gives a shit if you don’t want to play some more games.. It’s not obligatory to play for Europe top tier, in Arab/Chinese/USA clubs you can earn this money more comfortable..

Significant sections of fans from Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs want their owners out.

The Liverpool owners have done a fine job,  but the Furlough scandal and now this, is a step too far for their hardcore socialist beliefs.

Aleksander Ceferin's ominous warning to clubs involved in European Super League scandal

The UEFA president has spoken out about how the 12 rebellious teams are likely to be dealt with in the coming weeks

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/aleksander-ceferins-ominous-warning-clubs-23963118

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has warned that the 12 clubs involved in plans for a failed European Super League are to "suffer the consequences" of their actions in the coming weeks.

Shockwaves were sent through the world of football on Sunday when a dozen of the elite clubs throughout the continent announced their intentions to form the new competition - including Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

However, after receiving a huge backlash all six English teams withdrew from the proposed tournament on Tuesday, and the majority have issued apologies to furious supporters.

Although their reputations have been dealt a big blow, the punishment is not expected to end there, and sanctions could be issued by the likes of the Premier League and UEFA.

And speaking to Slovenian news outlet 24UR, Ceferin said he would take his time to consider the next course of action.

"A lot has happened 24 hours after the congress, but I expect more news by Friday," Ceferin said.

Forget United, I am not sure what exactly is UEFA plan for CL In 2024 and beyond.

Let’s use Chelsea for example say we finish 6th this season and west Ham finish 4th. Under the current rules West Ham would qualify. But what I am suggesting is still fair and appease big clubs. Is that Chelsea should qualify because they finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th previous seasons, which is on average much higher than West Ham finishes.

That is the point I am trying to get across, there are other ways to decide CL qualifications.
