It’s an unwritten rule that a former player will always come back to haunt you when they play against you, but this one has to hurt for Benfica.

They signed Serbian star Andrija Zivkovic when he had a huge reputation a few years ago, but he just didn’t live up to expectations and they eventually decided enough was enough and terminated his contract.

He was picked up by Greek side PAOK, and he’s immediately come back to haunt Benfica with this goal that will surely knock them out of the Champions League already:

only truly class players they have, and Di Maria is rapidly ageing, Icardi has went into a slump, they have a shedload of depth (6 fullbacks for instance), but the depth is all very meh players

the two in bold I would love to steal away, lolol, but are impossible, or near impossible pulls (especially Verratti)

Marquinhos would be a superb add for us, both at CB and DMF

Saw second half a bit, yes once they went down to 9 it was done deal, spurs also had the stats on their side.

Imagine the meltdown from Mourinho if they had lost the game!

Their schedule is seriously crazy though - they play Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday again this coming week.

For Mourinho there will be plenty of cause for concern after another unconvincing performance. They were very wasteful in front of goal and were it not for the two red cards could well have gone out of Europe.

I'm watching it! Craziest game I have ever seen. Some random club from Serbian village against former European champion Steaua. And they come with only 14 players because of Covid.
