Vesper 31,181
another major issue for Barca, they are so small overall especially with no Ronald Araujo starting and no Lewa (who is hardly a giant, but is super in the air, even at 36yo) the only regualr players they have over 6 feet tall (not counting GKers) are CB Araujo 1.92m (but he doesn't start atm) LB Gerard Martin 1.86m and not a normal starter until Balde got injured, plus he is by far their worst starter Robert Lewandowski 1.85m Ferran Torres (who doesn't start if Lewa is healthy) and Cubarsi are basically 6 feet tall, and starting CB Iñigo Martinez is 5-11 Marc Bernal is 1.91m (DMF) but is out for the year and is only 17yo and doesnt play much AC is 1.87m but he has been out injured most of the entire season, before a cameo tonight he had played one game, 26 minutes
Vesper 31,181
Lautaro is very likely out for the return leg which really fucks Inter (more than Barca not having Lewa as Inter lack offensive depth)

Everyone said he is bang average and we shouldn't look at players from Championship sides. The same as what is being said for some of our potential transfers now. Most people liked the Raphinha pick up until it became clear he was waiting for Barca.

Raphinha would've never been anywhere as good if he came here. He looked like grade A fraud under Xavi, this is why its important to have a top manager, Flick absolutely transformed him. Klopp was given time at Liverpool, as was Arteta to actually build. I'm not happy with how we're playing at the moment either, but we need some continuity. The reality is, we were playing at a 2nd best in the league level for half a season, with a young team, and new manager. It is there - and I'm at this stage hoping for continuity rather than rash changes. Fernando

That's the problem everyone has different ideas and visons and we change every season so no time to build..know it worked before but that was then. This is now. End up spending stupid £££ paying people off. Slot is different he came into a ready made squad which was pretty good and just improved on them. Whereas our lot haven't had a decent squad. Be gutting however if we miss 5th CL place and Man U in Europa despite being shite in league and get it...
