Despite Liverpool's poor form which see's them 8th in the league (would have been 9th if Sunderland held on at Eastland's yesterday) there has been little sign of him being under threat.It's a shock especially with the timing of it coming on the morning of their 6 pointer with Newcastle at St James Park. However John Henry and the Liverpool board felt they had no option but to make the change immediately before Liverpool fall further down the league table.A Liverpool spokesperson said "we are very grateful for the work Kenny has done since returning last year, but the results lately and for the most of the season have just not been good enough and we feel now is a time to act and make that change.
