Mr. Ziggles 110
So Eddie Newton has come back to assist RDM for this season in our hopeful quest to finish 4th ahead of evil Arsenal, who have come back from being in the bottom half of the table in November thanks to Robin van fucking Persie. What a great guy, CFC through and through. Let's hope the players show these two legends (Eddie and RDM) some fucking respect and finally play some football for us fans who have payed top money for tickets. francozola 2,040
IF they do well, it will have nothing to do with them being legends at the club. If the players aren't going to show respect to Carlo fucking Ancelotti, what makes you think they care about what di Matteo and Newton have done?So while it's nice for us fans to see them here, the players don't give two shits about that. Maybe some will prefer di Matteo's style over AVB's, but if there is an improvement it won't have anything to do with the fact which manager they respect more. LDN Blue 7,903
Predictable, slightly. I heard Dons liked this partnership, so hopefully they do well
Tomo 21,751
Di Matteo actually did well at WBA and was harshly sacked, they were still firmly poised to stay up for only the 2nd time in prem history even before Roy replaced RDM.
manpe 10,861
So does that mean he will be the manager til the end of the season? Otherwise what would be the point in hiring an assistant for one or two matches.
Changingman_2000 876
Glad to see Eddie back at the club. He was interviewed on talkSPORT last night and said he was waiting by the phone for the call to arms. A guy who genuinely loves the club. But i think Hughton was a little below expectations, but still should never of gotten sacked.
Badboy 1,526
He's a London man born and bred, good to have someone like that around the club.
CHOULO19 24,332
I like him. A genuinly nice guy who loves Chelsea. I really hope he and Reborto do well and that their work is not comprimised by all the speculation for a new manager.

Mr. Ziggles 110
Hearing about how awesome Eddie and RDM seem to be at managing, the only thing that can stop us from beating Birmingham is...a) Good performance by Birmingham. Cashley, Lampard and the Board decide to show up.

Lmao wasn't that when Di Matteo scored in like 20 seconds?, my dad was at that game. I would of just turned about 4 by then so i wasn't really a Chelsea fan, though i was wearing the full kit at that age!
Henri 115
Its not gonna be easy, but i wish them all the best. Im already tired of AVB supporterpicking on the players, seriously how many of us were in the dressing room, zero.Be realistic there is more than one side to a story. No matter how hard the odds wasBoas failed at CFC. Still wish him all the best for the future.
