Real Valladolid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo has been approached by Real Zaragoza regarding a move, agent and former great Fernando Redondo revealed.

Redondo claims that Chelsea contacted him about the shot-stopper two years ago when Asenjo was playing for Spain's youth team.

The Argentinian declared that since then, English clubs have not shown interest in his client and that apart from Zaragoza, Valencia are also closely following the 18-year-old's performances.

"Sergio knows what is good for him, he is working well and feels relaxed and focused on what he is doing," Redondo stated.

"We will study interesting offer in a very relaxed state of mind, but we assume he has to find the best option for him, which is to play."
