Exactly. They made the effort,we fucked around.Defintly deserved it.

Just depressing...and the attitude of some players is just pathetic.Feel sorry for Cech one of the few who seemed to want to win or least get something out the game

i think a couple more actually made an effort but not that many more, cole, cahill, luiz, torres (the short amount of time he got) iva....

Weren't we 5th this time last season too?

Weren't we 5th this time last season too?

We won 8 of our last 12 games which propelled us into second place. I don't see that this season because we're playing like shit. Carlo managed to get the players on his side and they fought for him, AVB can't do that.

As much as i like Carlo we were just as shit last season, even in our "mini" revival all the scorelines were flattering us.

AVB should stay but I have my doubts.

He keeps persisting with tactics that worked so well for him at Porto but in essence are not working for him at Chelsea. He's not changing things. It wouldn't be that bad if we were seeing glimpses of some good stuff, that we could look forward to in the future but the reality is, in this shape and formation we're not seeing anything positive. Mata and Sturridge should be out wide, instead they are told to play as inside forwards, so they are told to come inside every game which just makes it too compact and congested in the middle and therefore it's easy for teams to defend against. We need width, we need to Sturridge and Mata to stay out wide, I miss the days when we had Duff and Robben on the wings, actual width. Our only real width comes from the full backs which is easy to defend against and just leaves gaps when we go forward. When we play teams who put men behind the ball, we always struggle because we don't make use of any width and it's always too congested. The only times we've played well in the last few months has been against teams who have attacked us because there's been more space. Man United, Man City etc. It's no wonder why Torres and even Drogba come out wide it's because they can't get the ball, we can't get any possession or space in the final third, it's too congested in there.

Its been this way for a long time, we have not had natural width for too long, mata shouldnt be out wide he should be tucked in the middle between the lines, silva esq, and we need NATURAL wingers, sturridge thinks like a central striker, we should have been bringing new players in seasons ago and we wouldnt be in this situation now with the 'old gaurd' and player power, i dont know why after 60 min when drogba was limping around he wasnt hooked he hadnt done a lot in the hour anyway and torres looked sharp when he come on but couldnt do anything because we had lost the game from the start in the middle, we was poor in the middle where it counts and sturridge should have done better with his two chances

Couldn't agree more. He's spent so much time not playing, he's come to value when he gets to. Unlike most our players he doesn't take it for granted, playing the game he loves, so when he's called upon he'll try, try and keep trying.

I think with his injurys aswell that that 'holding' role will be better for him i think we have lost the tank, but think we have in him now where he can brake the play up and he just drops in when luiz goes for a wonder

Match report;

We pre arranged a pub outside Brimingham. In there for 3 hours :drunk: singing Osgood songs  and dozens of Chelsea songs while Dippers :clown: v Arse :clown: was on the TV. Landlord got pretty fed up with us by the end.

Back on the coach everyone pissed up singing , coach driver seemed uneasy, then 8 police outriders intercepted us and escorted us to the Hawrthorns. Felt like fucken royalty.

Singing all through the game, whilst some multi millionaires went through the motions on the pitch. Baggies scored near the end I think, cue loads of abuse to their fans who suddenly piped up. Then they started singing-''Getting sacked in the morning, You're getting sacked in the morning'' at which point all the Chelsea fans joined in singing the same.

:shoot: Ginger cunt :clown: wants the sack so he can get paid off -just another parasite bleeding Roman for little effort.

1. Bye bye 4th place.

2. Hello Europa League.

3. We have turned from a dominant physical team into a bunch of softies who back out of tackles and challenges.

4. Fair play to West Brom for exploiting out pathetic inability to get into challenges and winning the 2nd ball, which has been a major problem for us all season.

I kind of admired AVB when he admitted that we played badly at the beginning when we lost games but now its becoming a post match routine now and is getting irritating... not learning from the defeats ... he is doing something grossly wrong that he has to look into and he simply doesn't seem to do that ... talk about our board sacking CA for poor performance *face palm*

Not in the mood to post anything constructive so here are a few short points on the game:

  • Sturridge lost us the match in a fashion even Torres would be ashamed of.
  • Our most talented player, Mata, looked like his technical skills abandoned him.
  • I actually noticed Lampard was playing in the 44th minute. It's not that he wasn't running around, it's that he looked like he belonged to neither team..
  • Only Drogba Luiz and probably Essien & Brana had an acceptable game.

It's very tough time right now for all Chelsea fans.

But we must keep up the faith.

If things look bad right now, just think about our future. Kakuta, Piazon, Josh, Courtois and much more!
