The fact is that we're a fucking shambolic mess of a team and drastic and i mean DRASTIC change is needed. Fuck evolution, we need revolution and we need to start as soon as this piece of shit season is over.

Off course you quite correct about too many threads etc & it wasn't finger pointing at anyone in particular, was a generalization but some of us havn't even read the post on threads let alone posting & yesterday was the first time ever I have posted a formation on this site & that's was only because I felt strongly about our team selection & formation that I feel needs to be used til the end of the season. So some have good reason to.

Besides I did say a few weeks back that there should be a new section for our managers past & present & then there could be sub categories for all these never ending threads in there, therefore not clogging up things in here. Perhaps if someone else who actually gets noticed on here says something then the powers that be might give an answer, I feel like a ghost on here most of the time!

So get the fucking grip guys, none of you is a real manager and I don't think you've ever managed any team because than you'd see that when you HAVE to win you don't play someone who is inexperienced and you choose the best guy who performed well, you just need that assurance and stop selling every friggin player because we already have one of the thinest squads of top clubs in Europe if we can still consider ourselves a member of this bunch. It's fucking tiring when I open new threads and everyone has this great ideas of selling old players, integrating youth and buying stars and they also want us to be self-sufficient, just like they were members of our board of coaching stuff. Actually mate threads like this were about last season & the players I want out are not too dissimilar to what I have posted on this thread, & if you take the time to read some posts they don't all say the same things, I don't want the old guard out I want the mediocre players got shot of & to be replaced by some youth & 3 or 4 quality players bought to invigorate our stale squad.

What the fuck? I resented Roman for sacking Mourinho and Ancelotti, but if this is true, he couldn't have chosen a worse time to support the manager. If we don't want to pull a Liverpool, AVB must go NOW. We have to somehow salvage something this season or it will be even more difficult to clear the dead wood in summer than it is now.

sorry, but I don't get why it would become more difficult. It doesn't matter if we finish the season 4th, 7th or 15th, the dead wood has to go with no excuses. the only thing difficult imo would be attracting quality players if we finish out of the top 4.

^ maybe, but it sounds to me like a dog chasing his tail. atm the so-called dead wood is doing nothing to keep us in the top 4. why should we keep 'em for another season? because they think they're still worth playing for Chelsea?

I didn't say we should keep them for another season. I said we get rid of AVB now and try get that 4th CL spot with the players we have now because that's the best we can do. Then, in summer when the window opens, we can clear the dead wood, bring in new faces (and not some Blackpool star), etc.

Not that any of that will happen. It really won't. I can't see why people are getting excited over this.

Big clubs need players with experience sometimes. They don't necessarily have to be players that have already been at the club. United were able to do it with Scholes & Giggs because they were willing to adapt.

Like we look at City and they have quite a bit of experience in Yaya Toure, Kolo Toure, David Pizzaro now etc. They weren't there from the beginning but Mancini brought them in because they've been there, done that. Okay not necessarily in England (although Kolo was) but they're all title winners respectively.

Mourinho did it with Makelele, who turned out to be key as a first team player too. I'm sure André realises we do need players of experience to go with his young revolution/evolution but not the players that will undermine him. Terry is one of those players that can stay, Lampard's attitude has proved he can't. I always picture Ashley as one who'd stay for experience sake, but if this argument is true then there's a real problem.

I really hope André finds peace and calm with Lampard, Ashley & Essien. In the long-run these guys could be key when we make signings to be the new spine of Chelsea because these guys have been there & done that. They can be mentors and pass on secrets of their trade, that kind of thing is vital in a major club.
