Changingman_2000 876
I take my daughter to watch Motherwell up here, Local club and all that. All my family are Rangers fans and I went to a few games growing up but heart wasn't in it, Was already a Chelsea fan from a very early age. I've been to both Ibrox and Parkhead in years gone by and listening to endless songs about a conflict in another country, 400 years ago just makes you laugh. You wouldnt mind if the majority of the crowd were church goers (Fuck that) but its just endless drivel. Rangers fans with England tops on, Celtic fans wearing Ireland colours makes me want to puke.I'd happily see both of them in junior football, or worst case scenario, English lower leagues and getting horsed by Brenford and the Orient.Rangers have had this coming for a long, long time and you could argue that previous titles should be stripped from them. Celtic needn't act smugly about this either.

Aesthetic Relic 301
Wonder what Stuart - Aesthetic Relic thinks about this...Sad indeed.Wonder what Stuart - Aesthetic Relic thinks about this...Sad indeed.Cheers for the thought Tbh, I'm fucking gutted. Trying to understand what the hell has happened the last lot of weeks has been doing my nut in. I was one of a few who were hoping Craig Whyte had a plan and that all of this was a very bad dream. In the end it turned out he did have a plan and royally fucked us over. There's bena glimmer of light today, Paul Murray (and the Blue Knights - consortium) may be on the brink of a deal with the administrators. Players cuts were expected to be announced today as Rangers need to cover a £1m loss per month, but that has been put off for 4 weeks. Rangers have to come out of administration by 31st March to be able to compete in europe next year. Paul Murray has said that he wishes for no player cuts if he were to put in a bid as a player cull would mean him having to pump more money into the club to increase the playing staff and thus rule him out of a proposed deal.So perhaps this is a sign that he's going to step in and follow up on his interest. Players have already said they would play for nothing and McCoist has stated he'd happily work unpaid if it helps out.To show the sort of fans Rangers have they had proposed to take in a game Dunfermline v St Mirren to help out Dunfermline who were owed £83k by Rangers due to Craig Whyte flaffing about with our finances. Dunfermline are in trouble themselves and badly needed the money, so the Rangers fans were hoping to sell out their stadium as a gesture of goodwill on their behalf. Today the £83k has been paid, so I'm not certain if the plan to go to the game will go ahead or not now.
Aesthetic Relic 301
We Should buy Rangers and make them our youth team as Udinese did.I must have missed this earlier.*Clears throat*Blow it out your arse.....Your not talking about some diddy club here. Rangers have a history and tradition most clubs would dream of, so to consider making them a "feeder club" due to their current plight is something I take great offence to. Its disgusting Rangers plight at the hands of cunts that have no interest in football just filthy lucre, when its the fans that have made them that money. and I can see other clubs following suit. Prem Clubs as well. Hopefully the Blue knights can pull something out the bag
LDN Blue 7,903
Portsmouth and co. were one thing, but a club with the history of Rangers is simply shocking.
zolayes 14,489
I am amazed most of the Scottish clubs below Rangers and Celtic survive ...the attendances are so low there. Often the gate for all games was lowerthan the Celtic or Rangers, Below the SPL most are poor English non league level
Aesthetic Relic 301
One other thing I forgot to mention, it was not how we dealt in the past that has brought us to administration (EBT's / HMRC Tax Case), it was Craig Whyte not paying VAT, NI Contributions on player wages and basic bills a club has to pay since his takeover. He forced the administration by doing this. The HMRC hearing had no bearing on it whatsoever.Other latest news is that lawyer Gary Withey who was an advisor to Craig Whyte during his takeover has quit his job at Collyer Bristow "for family reasons"....Aye right.......Rangers fans have been bombarding Collyer Bristow for weeks demanding to know where the ST money has gone. Withey has been in hiding for the past 2 weeks. His firm were used by Whyte to transfer the £24.4m Ticketus money (3-4 years Season Ticket Sales) to when Whyte took over the club. Rangers may not have to foot the bill as a legal expert claims Whyte needed the authorisation of every season ticket holder to sell their tickets which he did not obtain. Therefore Whyte will be left with the bill. This clown (Withey) was paid a handsome fee believed to be £230k, which was funded by the sale of Shares Rangers had in Arsenal dating back to 1910. A bit of history sold off by Craig Whyte which has infuriated fans.
