I'm actually greatful they are at the top rather than Liverpool, City or Arsenal, can you imagine these teams being at the top?, the horror.

But saying that, it looks like City are to take Uniteds place at the top.

I remember that season a while back Liverpool looked like they had a chance of winning the prem..was so glad Man U won it instead! The thought of them winning it blehhhhhhhhh!

Moscow...just gah!!! The fact they won it really due to a sodding slip :( .Never support English teams in the CL once we're out.Mainly cause their our rivals the rest of the time...not gana change for that 90 mins and them winning a trophy..nice for them but we get sod all out of it.But not gana slate those who do up to them really just personal opioion

I'm always one to support the country, maybe it's just me then. Like i still support England when 90 percent have given up lol, i'm almost on the verge of giving up though. Yeah i remember that season, finally rafa benitez got it, but he didn't just quite get it. So glad United got it, i love to hold it against the stupid scousers that they havent won a title in years.

When they were dominant in the 80's I had a lot of respect for them. They literally let their football do the talking. Dalglish was a fabulous player. Souness was the complete midfield player, much in the mould of Essien a couple of years back. He was box to box, Brilliant passer and one very, very hard bastard of the very highest order. Pretty much across the board they were the bollocks.

I think their world fell apart when Fergie got his feet under the table at Old Trafford. They just can't cope with the fact that Man Ure have literally taken the piss for the last twenty odd years. They have really become a hateful bunch of wankers. "You ain't got no history", Every fucking club has history, Huddersfield, Preston, Burnley, etc have all had their day in the sun. Before Shankly, Liverpool were a piss poor 2nd Divison team. Before Busby Man Ure were a piss poor 2nd Divison team.

Nowadays, they really are a hateful bunch of cunts.

Think my mum saw them vs Chelsea at the bridge for the first time in the 70s?Something like that and just said the attitdue of their players and their arrogance is what lead to her hating them which has stuck since then and passed onto me

They seem to think they have a right to win everything and that everyone else cheats their way to trophies and their fans have become complete twats and expect sympthy in whatever happenes to them/the club...Suraez recent showing of that..we're meant to be on his side and everyones against him etc

And the way they lash out at anyone even their fans who have a different opion on Kenny...one fan pointed out the fact he'd won the Carling Cup due to pens....doubt that went down well

I think the last great Liverpool team I seen visited The Bridge around xmas 89. We scored early by Kerry Dixon, an hour later they were 5 - 1 up, ended up 5 - 2. Proper horsing. Ray Houghton played a blinder. They are now a very, very pale shadow of their former selves. A bit like we were like in the late 70's, compared to the late 60's.

The scouse counts just need to get over themselves. Which I fear may take a very, very long time. I just hope to fuck we turn them over at Wembley, otherwise we will never hear the end of it, they are a northern version of West Ham, the rare time they get a result they bang on about it for fucking years.

Suarez is an absolute cunt, perhaps the most hated footballer in the world. Forget the blatant racism, that handball against Ghana was absolutely criminal. How the fuck can you defend an utter twat like that? Now look, I know some say many of us would do something like that. But I like to think that humans are decent enough to acknowledge when they've been beaten and not stoop to such a desperately low act.

I really feel sorry for genuine, decent Liverpool fans who are let down by the vast majority of idiots that follow that football club. I read this post on that RAWK thread I linked earlier where someone said "They (us) will never know what it feels like to love a football club. They will never feel what we feel.". Thank fuck for that, I'd be ashamed if we loved our club that much as to be completely blind to both the truth and events such as Suarez-Evra.

This pearler from RAWK had me in stitches for 10 minutes! It was with regards to the Forbes list of Richest Football Clubs.

How on Gods earth are Chelsea above Liverpool? They have a smaller stadium, smaller fan base and no frigging history

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAAAA

I would say these days we have a bigger global fanbase. Liverpool haven't been at the top for an entire generation, I'd wager that most English speaking people my age are either Man United, Chelsea or Arsenal supporters. Liverpool would be a distant 4th while those 3 would be pretty similar in terms of global young fans.

No I wouldnt think they'd have much of a global fanbase either...be a bit random espically seeing as they've kinda come out of the spotlight and top 4 for quite a while!

Most of mine are the same see the odd one but in comparison..my cousin is 30 and Liverpool because they were the successful team at the time..miss guided!

Look, I used to loathe United with a passion, but one of my best mates is a United fan and he slowly swung me around to grudgingly respecting them, and even preferring them to most of the bigger teams in England. I didn't watch the 08/09 final, the pain of Ovrebo was still too much for me, I didn't watch any football after that up to the FA Cup final. In any case, by the time said friend had turned me around, it was deep in the 09/10 season when United didn't win anything of import.

I don't appreciate being called a disgrace for preferring United to Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man City; or the clubs from the continent like Juventus (sorry, Steve), Barcelona et al. Personal abuse is unnecessary, United are not a direct rival and many of their fans don't harbour an intense hatred for us when compared to the three clubs I mentioned earlier. Probably because they have been more successful than us. You'll still get the odd Red talking shit like "Plastic flag plastic club" but by and large they don't think as lowly of us as other fans. Take a look at Redcafe if you don't believe me, United fans are some of the most balanced fans in the world, that website is probably the best football forum in the world. I'm not denying that they're biased, I'm not denying that many if not most of them dislike us, but they are a much better club with much more intelligent fans than the rest of our 'rivals'.

As I was saying; Man United fans are much more friendly to us than most, if you remove JT from the equation:

http://www.redcafe.n...chelsea-352333/

Most of them are genuinely happy for us. Can you imagine other clubs doing that?

EXACTLY!, that Spurs forum works for me but i bet even some of them congratulated us, Liverpool fans who have NOTHING!, to do with this Champions League and wont feel any affect wont congratulate us. We were just lucky, Barca were shit, it was all underserved, when will it ever be deserved?. There was some on RAWK saying, lol parking the bus what football. Idiots you would park the bus aswell, if we play Barca in attack, we will lose so easily cause there quality is just amazing.

Just like England when they beat Spain 1-0, they lost 2-0 to them last time cause they tried to out play them, this time they defend and get a goal and win.

People forget we didn't have one centre back on the pitch, 10 men and were 2-0 down. Fucking brainless idiots, selfish bastards if i wanted a club to be shut down and never to be seen again, i would spare the top clubs like Manchester United and City, i would go for Liverpool cause i fucking hate them.

I have never in my life so utterly hated a football club. It consumes me. It's all I think about, how badly I hate them.

:Goober:

(was referring to what RAWKites are more or less say about us)

Fuck Liverpool. Team of the past, they'll never amount to anything in the future. That club is an absolute disgrace, the way they conduct themselves, the way they act like the world revolves around them, their senseless equation of History=Trophies.

Offhand there are 6 clubs that have better "histories" than Liverpool- Real Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Inter aren't very far off either. So they're mediocre even by their own definition of history. What gives them the high ground then? Their famous atmosphere is rubbish as well, they only sing when they're winning.

Finally, they discredit our own successes despite failing to notice that most of their trophies were bankrolled by wealthy owners who spent hundreds of thousands of pounds- comparable to the hundreds of millions we've spent in context to the time where they bought titles. What gives them the right to discredit what we've done when they did the same, except in a much more parasitic, talent hoarding way?
