Land 331
But if he does perform well,it will be in La Liga right in front of everyone against great teams, miles better than championship scrubs So that would give him a bigger chance of playing for us
Mr_President 404
Goodluck to him, hope he gets some minutes. Pellegrini is a good coach too and if he really did request the loan move then hopefully he has intentions of playing him.

OneMoSalah 8,886
Bit suspicious about this move, I don't think hes anywhere near ready for a team of that quality, no offence to him. Thought the championship or a lower PL club would have been better. Or a lower La Liga team. Hopefully not another Josh at Swansea loan. Leif 6,006
Not trying to sound harsh - but take away his nationality and his similar appearance to Kaka for a moment. Let's pretend he's English and his name is Bob Stewart or something. What is he actually good at? What makes people think he's good enough to even be on our bench? This isn't a rhetorical question but a genuine one. From what I've seen, his passing is average, pace is slightly above average, shooting is quite bad, vision is great, dribbling is slightly above average, control and first touch are kinda crap apart from the odd wonder-movement, and that's all I can think of really. Is great vision really enough? KonohasOrangeFlash
Ollie 4,400
Wow this really is a top move. To go to a very good Spanish Premier team could do absolute wonders for his career. You know this guy is gonna make it.

Is great vision really enough? If he was English, we'd be proclaiming him as the next.....I don't know. I can't think of an English player like him. Maybe David Bentley? That's not to say he's as shit as David Bentley, but we don't really produce players like him. Suffice to say if he was English, he'd be overhyped. He's a very classy player who glides across the pitch and that means he sometimes glides in and out of games too. He needs to work on asserting himself more in games and really grabbing hold of them. When he gets the ball you don't expect him to lose it and sometimes he'll do amazing things, but not often enough perhaps based on the expectation surrounding him.But he is still very young and he's in a similar position to Josh in many respects. He's got a lot of talent but he's got to find a way to utilise it more effectively during matches. I can think of worse men to spend 6 months under (ooh err) than Pelligrini.Or if we are in for Isco are they lining up a Piazon and cash deal? Or swop?Could just be a way of pushing us to the front of the line come Summer. I'd be loathe to lose him whoever we brought in.Ultimately even if he doesn't get game time, he gets a chance to train in a new environment under a new set of coaches at an age where he's still learning what being a footballer is all about. He wasn't about to get much time on the pitch here and I'll be honest, I trust our club to place youngsters on worthwhile loans most of the time. daBlackMamba7, Corner, Muzchap and 2 others
bushman 2,043
Look at it from his point of view. At least, he will sit around a warmer bench there. It certainly beats cold London. joni2605 and Muzchap
Thomas Williams 166
I would have loved him to go to the spanish league, but I would have liked it to be a bottom team there, or at least bottom half- mid level. Malaga is a quality team that already has a good attacking midfield...I can't see him getting a lot there. I'd rather play him every odd game here at Chelsea than for him to play every odd game at Malaga. But if he does get to play a lot, it will be great experience, so hopefully we know what we're doing on moves like this. Is great vision really enough? Unpopular opinion here, sorru, but I agree. Not that he isn't a good talent - but the whole fact he is a young playmaker from Brazil generally makes people overrate him. I remember when we wee first looking to sign him, no one had even heard of him but quite alot of people were saying he would be going straight into the first team, (not necessarily on this forum). And his first few months in England were actually quite poor, it was not until the latter stages of the FAYC that he grew into things and showed some of his talent, but he somehow automatically became our reserves' best player. He has also looked pretty poor in his first team appearances so far(bar Villa). Generally I find he always over dribbles the ball, both at youth and the couple of starts he had, will get past one and then panics, becomes indicisive, and dribbles into a defender. Once he learns when to release it he can become a good player.
NishC300 1,865
Piazon shoudlnt play as a striker anyways ...But my point was that who will be stiker other than BA!! SERIOUSLY! Torres is shit and then we literally have no one else! Also why do u say Piazon shouldn't play as striker.......

royg 96
After the inclusion of Ba, he was dropped from the substitute list, he needs playing time to gain experience and continue his development. Like what others are saying, I dont think he will get lots of minutes in Malaga. Hoping he performs well if he gets to play and impress Pellegrini! bushman 2,043
Malaga are flying high, playing CL football & fighting for one place next year. This should be better & more esteemed situation than at Chelsea. Piazon is most likely expected to be given playing time. Now, it´ll be up him to show his stuff. Hopefully, he will flourish there.
