You have to say, at least offensively, he'd be better for us than Oscar is. Kev would be putting up huge stats with the players we have now.

This may very well be one we seriously regret selling if he joins a PL rival soon. Slaying the Bundesliga.

MOu wants a hard working no.10. Oscar is that more than KdB

I admit i never thought is that good, seems like i was wrong, but i would like to see him in a better team to be fully convinced, its not always easy for his type of style (needs the free role, spaces, not to defend that much). Anyway cant see him succeeding here even if he stayed. But if we wouldnt sold him last summer imagin the amount of cash we could get from him... 30-40 miliion easy.

Brace yourselves - "de Bruyne is better than Pele" posts are incoming.

EDIT - shit, too late. SAVE YOURSELVES.

Yes, he played well today. But he wouldn't play like that for us. He isn't a Mourinho-type player.

We can always re-sign him if we really want to.

No. He most certainly would not be developing the way he is now were he still here. Kevin is given a lot of creative license at Wolfsburg. He's free to make mistakes. You put Oscar in that team and allow him to do whatever he wants with the ball, he'll also look impressive too after a season.

He's undeniably a better no.10 than Oscar is, but with the team we have now that's mostly irrelevant. Having De Bruyne, Fabregas, and Matic in the centre of the pitch would be asking for trouble against any side that is half-decent in possession and/or has fast, pacy players in their midfield; when out of possession we would be much too easy to outmaneovre on a consistent basis.
