They won't sell him to us. He's going to be 28 this October anyways. If he doesn't sign a contract extension this year he'll have only 1 year remaining on his contract when the season ends. We can probably get him for much cheaper in January or June next year if we do want to go for it although I wouldn't because of his age.

guys once Zlatan IBRA one year contract with MAN UTD ends on Sunday 21 May 2017 and then sign him on 1 July 2017.

do you think Chelsea should sign him for half a year contract or a full one year contract at the end of the 2016/2017 season.

sign him on 1 July 2017 until January 2018.

Look. Ive just got in after the game (well via a few pubs party%202_zpskq1nybcu.gif ) And I had a thought.

We know its very silly season but with Cescy on the bench tonight (our most creative midfielder) he really isn't going to like it. And with the reports of him already being offered around most of Italy Ive just read that his reps have APPARENTLY been asked tro approach RM.

And I wondered just who it was that is supposed to have put a bid in for Rodriguez for £72mill  the end of last week?

Cause after Willians alarm clock didn't wake him up to goto the game tonight it would be one hellova deal using Cescy as a swap if poss eh?

Silly season or pipe dream I dunno. Suppose it depends on how pissed off Rodriguez is.

Former Manchester United target Steven Defour has completed his £7million switch to Burnley.

The Belgium international, capped 46 times for his country, has penned a three-year contract at Turf Moor on leaving Anderlecht.

The midfielder was once courted by Sir Alex Ferguson for Manchester United, with the former Red Devils boss going so far as to write Defour a sympathy letter following a broken metatarsal in 2009. And he is relishing his chance to finally play in the English top flight.

It's save to say for the second year/time in a row: our transfer policy is an absolute fucking joke.

Yeah, look how quickly Jose got his players at United. We are obviously still trying to haggle with fees but we finished 10th. Invest big now and let Conte pick his players in the long run it will save money. Rather that than sack another manager and pay them off and get in the odd few players every window. We are shit because since Joses first time hear no manager has had the opportunity to build their own team with decent investment

You cannot compare ManUtd with Chelsea. United are thinking they just god Jesus Christ in human form in their club named José Mourinho. They'll please him with everything they can and that also means with transfers.

Louis van Gaal also got every target he got.

But that also portraits the sad truth: United have much more ambition than we have.

Dumb comparison. United are a much bigger club than us.

The size of the club isn't the issue here. It's the reluctance to throw a any figure around at the problem like the former have done.
