I hope they sell him to Real, everyone realizes how massively overrated he is, Spuds struggle to attract top players with the money because the can't offer CL and pay meager wages, and they then finish 8th like they would have this past season without Bale.

hmm, now you mention about it. Now they are obviously "Gareth Bale FC", if Bale leave then it would be a big loss for them, but at the same time they will have a lot of money. Some kind of dilemma. I prefer they stick with Bale then.

The Whole thing reeks! It's like Real have gone on youtube and watched highlight videos of Bale. Do they even ask the question as to "why a player worth 100 million can't get his team into the top 4?" FFS, he has one move! Dribble to his left and whack! I'm sure any half decent manager could get a DM to track him and shut down that one play.

Worse case is they sell him for 100Mil, he stinks in his first season and they buy him back for 20mil when Real have shattered any confidence he once had. They put 80 mil in the piggy-bank and Bale finds his form playing in England again..

That would be true if this were Arsenal or United, but which top players are Spuds going to attract? The best players would cost way more than they ever pay for players and they have a strict wage ceiling which isn't near what elite players earn. Most importantly, they have no CL footy to offer and all of the teams ahead of them have improved, meaning it'll be even tougher this coming season to make top 4.

There really aren't any players out there for them to get that would scare me or make me concerned about Spuds.

Their problem will be team chemistry. Negredo and Jovetic are impressive players, but will surely take some time to settle in. I'm not so sure how good Fernandinho is, but again it's quite rare a player will join a new club in a new league and do anything really amazing. If Silva has been found out as it looked last year, they could be in trouble with all this happening too.

Mourinho is just trying to heap even more pressure on them.

So I'm still trying to see what major hole there is here that will drastically affect team chemistry?

They already have a great core of players and the new ones coming in do not seem to be all out of place.

And then there is silva.

Well what can you say, sometimes players go out of form. Weather is by a previous injury or lack of motivation.

But silva a lone will not affect team chemistry, just will make them less competitive cause they don't have a top player at its peak.
