More likely to be length of contract if we looked into him.

At 31, realistically we're probably offering him no more than an 18 month contract with maybe an option for an extra year, similar to what we did with Giroud.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a 3 or 4 year contract at Newcastle.

True. Long contract and he’s probably negotiated something north of 200k a week since Newcastle are desperate.

This sort of thing should be clear cut - we either inserted a recall clause in the loan or not. Lyon shouldn't have a say at all.
