milka 3,395
Chelsea will have to pay £25m if they want to bring Norwich City playmaker James Maddison to Stamford Bridge this summer. Tottenham also interested. (Mirror) #CFC Good player for ......... Liga Europa
BlueLyon 9,359
I see you guys have big plans for summer. Seeing this club current state, the board and plans, I dont have big hopes for summer... First, I only want Bailey because he is available, huge talent, possible long term RW and most important of all, big Chelsea fan. At least he will live his dream and enjoy playing here. It makes too much sense and I will be pissed if we miss on him. Secondly, sell Tibo and get Alisson. That way we get quality (young) GK who wont complain all the time. Oblak is a dream, but nearly impossible. Anything else, from another striker, midfielder, defenders,...it will be great bonus if we manage to get some quality there too but I doubt. At least something exciting, something that shows the direction of the club. BUT at Chelsea, we rather pay 30,40m on piss like Drinkwater. I actualy dont mind we cant afford 200m every summer, but what I hate is the club buying shit players instead of giving chance to some of our youth. For example, RLC or Chalobah (who was sold) could easily fill the Drinks/Barkley role and we would still have 55m for other targets. Our board doesnt know what will happen next month, nevermind in 2 years. The lack of vision is depressing. We sell Chalobah, only to be forced to buy another english midfielder who is worse, older and costs 40m? GTFO. Sure Chalobah wanted to leave, but if he was actualy given the same trust that Barkley or Drinks got, that would change his mind. Its all about being in the plans and being counted on. Playing time would be small, but when you know the club and coach counts on you, its easier and Chalobah would still get decent amount of chances. It made too much sense to bring some of youth in more important backup roles and spend whatever money available on 2-3 top players. Instead we sold or loaned youth and brought shit players to our bench for backup while spending all the money, and on top, no actual proven quality. Clusterfuck, And dont say RLC and Chalobah werent good enough. Till injury, they were very good and considering the state of our midfield with aging slow Cesc, injured Barkley, average Drinks and Baka, our two youth midfielders would be more than good enough. But the club cant see shit, no vision, nothing. Having less money next couple summers wont kill us, but the idiotic board just may. Word! And worse - those expensive duds are blocking their paths, because we paid so much and they earn so much we will not be getting rid of them anytime soon. We know that the club rather eat expensive shit than homemade bread.

Chelsea_firstlove 178
No Champion League, Conte out, no Tuchel, no Sarri, no one want to manage us. Hazard out, Courtois out, no Icardi, no Isco, no one want to play for us. Lampard will be the next manager, develop young players.
Popular Post! El P. 1,354 Posted April 3, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted April 3, 2018 Not buying proper central midfielder was the biggest mistake we have made in recent years, one huge let down that will go down in history as a main decision that put this club into the dark. In defense we have brought Christy, not our fault Luiz went totally AWOL. In attack we have brought Morata, well, nobody could know that he wouldn't be good. But either of our defenders or strikers are more useful that Drinkayoko, or Fabregas. I mean, even on their good day, Drinkayoko doesn't offer us enough. We have Kante for all they are offering. And Fabregas isn't even good with the ball anymore and that was coming for years. We may be having some average defenders and strikers, but we have no midfield at all. EDIT: All top 5 teams have a much better midfield than ours, I only rate Liverpool's as not that good, but even their is more balanced than ours, with Can and Wijnaldum, I rate both way more than any of ours (except Kante of course). robsblubot, Amblève., Johnnyeye and 2 others

Sideshow Luiz 2,310
Luis Campos will be the most important transfer this summer, I think. Problems at the club need to be fixed from the back room first.

El P. 1,354
Again, I will write something about central midfielder. One may say I am obsessed with CM, but I get that a lot. Ok, we for sure miss creativity. A lot of creativity, and I would say, "game controlling" ability. I haven't seen us really dominating the midfield for significant period of time (for half a season at last), since Lampard-Ballack era. And I don't even mean possession dominating, I mean dominating in a balanced way, like our past team did from 2005-2010. So I am asking, can some new wing-backs give us that quality? I really really don't think so. Even Sandro or I don't know. Because their quality is mostly running up and down the pitch, providing width and stuff, they won't give us any control. It would be a lot easier to find midfielder with those qualities than WB. Koke, Saul, Rakitić, Jorginho, just to name a few, who could be available. Dembele from Spurs would be ideal if you ask me, but he is too injury prone. robsblubot
