Blind would be a good signing for United. Versatile, has experience under his belt, but still presumably has his best years ahead of him. Fits perfectly in a 3-5-2 as a wing-back or defensive midfielder if they keep persisting with it. Wasn't too expensive. The best signing United have made so far in terms of quality, need and price. Will probably be a key figure along with Di Maria.

Surprised Man-United didn't try to add him on loan...they could use another presence in midfield

Hes been linked with far bigger clubs through the window than West Ham. But he hasn't really played consistently for the last few years so I guess there were big doubts over him. He could be great for West Ham though. Big Sam is allegedly 'on the verge of the sack' but he's actually building a decent squad there at the mo.

Swansea could potentially sign Andre Ayew on deadline day

They've done well in the transfer window

English papers today speculating that Man Utd want to sign Blind and Nigel de Jong before the deadline whilst they're still allegedly negotiating for Vidal and Carvalho. They also say Kagawa, Cleverley, Welbeck, Hernandez, Anderson, Fellaini and Lindegard could all leave. So still no proper centre backs coming in?

Sky are saying Sunderland want to bring in Ricky Alvarez from Inter and they reckon that'll be done today.

Rumours also that Lewis Holtby could be sold to Hamburg or back to Schalke or loaned to Everton or Villa.

And QPR are set to announce the Diarra signing from Lokomotiv Moscow but are also interested in Sandro from Spurs. They're going to have a midfielder overload there.
