Chelsea do look fantastic at times but more consistency is needed & the killer instinct.

Well, we will see on Sunday against Arsenal whether the team is way better.

Expect the usual, we get lots of chances, fuck them up the arsenal get one and score, benitez makes his first substitution at the 90th minute.

1/4 of chelsea fans blame other fans for booing, 1/4 of fans blame players for not showing up, 2/4 of fans blame benitez for fucking up with subs.

Normal everyday drama at chelsea :D

Well said, That´s exactly what I am afraid of. Chelsea just attacks gang-ho style & shitty Arssens come down once but score.

Also, I feel Chelsea are not attracting too many players, lately.

One may ask why ?

Managers are not knocking on Roman´s door either.

However, If I had spent 1 billion on something, I would not want too many people telling me what to do either.

I just pray something works out for the club, soon. Otherwise, Chelsea are in deep troubles, I feel.

Ok, controversial maybe.

I think this is a season everyone knows was going to be a transition season. We switched managers, played half of the season - and yes Henrique, we played it all with a U23 team practically- You are correct-they can not be expected to be consistent, As a dutch trainer - I can't by God remember his name - said: nobody has ever won any prices with a youth team. this does not mean some haven't been exciting :-)

Also and perhaps even most important: we went into the new season without any striker what so ever. there was really nobody that could hold the line consistently. The stability in the entire team was gone. Above that, this happened in the middle of a chance process designed to give us a different kind of football. Some of the team, just being the World Champions try to overcompensate. I really think this happened. conclusion: An extra imbalance in essentially a superb team. that

Now we also come to the conclusion that we are too thin a team (what was really self evident - check our posts even in the summer). Is the recipe to get new 'force' so incredibly good tasting actually, considering our situation?

Maybe we should consider the dangers of a short term vision, even as fans. I really like some of Bushmans posts, because there is no denying them. We need a vision. Everyone knows that. This is what makes people mock us sometimes (not that I care), we need to be for real. We got a striker that is doing well on loan, we got a CM that is kicking it in Germany, we got english talent doing great as well. We do need our youth, they can be great. We need experience too. Actually: to get a youth that loves actually really Chelsea, we need a mix of both being played in the season. Without a long term plan/vision, all the wrong managers will be knocking on our door. How did we even consider a PR disaster as Rafa. He could be ok as a trainer, but just see what happens atmosphere-wise at the Bridge. If we want quality, also in a manager, he has to know he will end up in 'an ecology' that supports a long term view.

But: if they panick too much now and buy too much or the wrong players with a gazillion of pounds, we might not get any of it all: stability, growth as a club, silverware and an atmosphere that lifts youngster to new heights.

By wise, I'd say and bring back some of the young ones. Think of the long term. Also, buy very strategically and sensible (eg: Ba was super sensible I think). If it is a big buy, make it count. No in betweens, but world class.

Hey It's friday and I'm baked :-) sorry for the rant :-)

As I see it.

The management knew Torres can not be trusted to replace Drogba. Sturridge under RDM was not getting many chances either. Lukaku was shipped out. There are Chelsea´s strikers. As it turns out, Ferda is a flop, as we all knew, the others are gone.

The midfield is depleted. Boys are playing in Africa.. Has anyone in the management noticed it ?

Currently, the club have got some fine players out on loans. How nice. Meanwhile, Rafa turns around looking for players to subbed & the bench is empty & the crowds are booing, instead. What a place to be. I am not surprised one bit that Pep decided to learn German , instead.

Jones Okore could been on the move from Nordsjaelland this month

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8409054/

"These are only rumours. Negotiations Ongoing with any club? No comment," Nikola Juric told Calciomercato.

"Obviously, Jores would like to prove himself in more competitive leagues, but we have no hurry. It could happen in January or in the summer.

"He is an intelligent guy and a model professional. The only thing I can say for sure, is that any choice won't be made for economic reasons. We seek a project and not the money. "

You sure remember him, he was like sensational against us.

I have a gut feeling Chelsea are done with the January transfer window. They have enough loanees who are capable of contributing next season rather than go buy more.

Unfortunately our club rarely looks at it that way, although we should. Well I say unfortunately because I look at the situation of Arsenal and United and see how successful they have been with Wilshere, Song, Welbeck, Cleverley etc and wish we could do the same sometimes. I look at the case of Lukaku and think he will be brilliant if he stays with us next season but whatever happens with him, he can score 30 goals, I still believe we always look for "someone better" if they are their for the taking.

Yep the club once again has made bad choices.

I am one for looking at it on both sides, hell i even think Gourlay and such must be good at there job and probably think the same as us and it's not as easy as some people think. But i have to say on this they are utter tools, what's going on? we have only two strikers? and one shouldn't even be counted as a striker.

It's looking pretty stupid right now, we even need a midfielder and much more depth defensively. Honeslty one injury and where fucked, Terry for example. But what does it matter anyway the club is just typical like that. I expect another CAM to come in the summer and that be it.

WTF?? Do you want the club to spend another 100mi on panic transfers?

The January Transfer Window is not a "building" transfer window. Our only huge priority was a striker and we brilliantly bought BA, now we have to wait and live with the gaps.

I am more than sure we will see a busy summer window (CB,LB,CM,W,ST).

Oh shut up, fact is we have a ladyboy who can't play football for shit. We have INCREDIBLY poor options for the double pivot it's not even funny. Ramires has been off form lately, Lampard can't play in that position, David Luiz will most doubt play centre back starting from now and he can be too careless their either way, and don't even get me started on John Obi i do fuck all Mikel.

You need to actually have a backbone and stop sucking up to the bollocks, lets face it the club has been poor since we have been in the BAD seasons from, starting from Carlo's 2nd season. And even now we still haven't picked up, despite us being a rich club and having so many transfer targets and hardly capturing anyone.

I'm not a spoilt brat, I'm delighted with the signings of Juan Mata, Hazard and especially Oscar, but if i had the choice to take one of them players away and off our team and actaully pick a DM i would do it. What logic is that anyway?, we have been poor in defence for two seasons so lets go buy a load of number 10's?. Yes we needed creativity, but it's backfired because we can't retain the ball back, we have poor DM's to win the ball back and not a great defence.

So don't go get sarcy to me and taking me for a fool, of course i don't expect the board to go out and spend 100 million, did i say that?. I'm one of the ones against signing the likes of Falcao and such expensive gambles.

So intelligent but cant even understand a shit!

All your analyses about the team are useless, I did not deny we need improvements on almost every area. What I said is that it is fucking stupid to judge the club by not being linked to players in this transfers window (or at least not the ones we want). January is not the time to build a squad, it is for emergencies. We dont desperatly need any more players. Even for the pivot, we have Luiz, Mikel, Ake, Lampard, Ramires and Oscar.

You look like a 12yo expecting Christmas...

Are you retarded mate? since when did i say we need an overhaul? and you say i don't understand shit.

I love people like you who pretty much say it's illegal to buy players in January, it's a load of bollocks people who come up with that shit, just faiytail crap. What so one or two players is going to affect the team so bad? two players could potentially ruin the whole team for life and this club could be within a possible chance of liquidation. Well best sell Demba Ba quick then if that's the potential risk i see here.

We don't desperately need double pivot players? and you stated a centre back, a liability, an 18 year old, an attacking player who is soon to be sold, a squad player oh and a CAM. Makes perfect sense that, come the fuck on, Oscar double pivot is asking for trouble, he's an attacking player through and through, he has all the typical traits of an attacking player, not someone who stays deep and works hard. We don't have any players like that, just face facts we desperately need a DM, because we have conceded most of our goals by having a poor double pivot.

You are so dumb, better continue playing FIFA!

We need players in pratically every area of the pitch: defense (CB and LB), midfield (DM/CM) and attack (Winger and ST). It does not mean we need an overhaul.

When did I say buying players in January hurts the team? It hurts the business and adaptation (some players need it and some dont). Also where did selling Ba became some sort of argument? I even said it was a brilliant purchase. The winter transfer window is not made for building a squad, you dont buy 3-4 players to save a season and expect it to work.

Yes, we dont desperately need a pivot player, we are basically only fighting for a top4 spot. Mikel will comeback, Luiz proved he can play there, Lampard is a natural CM and so is Rambo, Oscar can cover if necessary and in a desperate scenario we have Ake. Why do you want to buy useless temporary players in January? To satisfy your need to see Chelsea active or else the Board is doing a shit job?

CFC needs players who can support pressure and make a difference, this you dont find in January. Well, you even find it, but you pay absurd amounts. CMs who would go for 20-25mi end up being 30-35mi. I guess that is what we need in your mind, right?

LOL

Do you read what you're typing? most of all instead of hurling your shitty nonsense insults do you actually read what i said?. I haven't said once we need an overhaul in January, but for the 3rd time you've assumed i did. Go back and read my post, you are obviously a new fan to Chelsea if you honeslty think this team is good enough, go look at our games under Mourinho and such, we had the best cover in the world, untouchable to be honest. And now we got John Obi Mikel as our only DM it's shocking.

Your posts are stupid and it shows you are an idiot, you are making stuff up, you keep going on about such things as we wont get these players in January? WHAT FUCKING PLAYERS? I HAVEN'T EVEN NAMED A FUCKING PLAYER WE SHOULD GET OR HOW MUCH WE SHOULD SPEND OR A FUCKING OVERHAUL. PLEASE READ MY POST BEFORE ACTUALLY REPLYING.

If anything I'm helping you out so you don't look like a fool in future.
