I think Sturridge will leave and a cheaper option will come in. I believe the plan will be to try and get some mileage out of Torres in the hope that he will be worth something as a bargaining chip when striking a deal for Falcao in the summer.

Alex Pato is now publicly complaining about playing time and his agent will be having a chat with the club soon to discuss his future. Injury plagued but talented and of course will be linked with Chelsea, as he has been ever since Carlo was named manager, and still young. Seems like he would benefit more in a two striker formation which I don't see being used at Chelsea in the foreseeable future. For me Cavani and Falcao don't fit the system either nor has Torres to this point. Lukaku is the wild card in all this. Despite still developing, I think he can do the job as the lone striker in 4-2-3-1 if recalled in January. Maybe Emanalo sees this as well and Chelsea will avoid the massive striker buy in January.

Paulinho is definitely a better passer then ramires however thats not his main strength.

Shouldn't be a priority then. However thinking about it now, KDB will be our ball player. However I wouldn't mind Paulinho, for depth I guess. I would prefer a top DM though.

True. Would rather take fernadinho than paulinho. We need a long ball passer in that pivot, no point in having another box to box.
