I hope Chelsea stay relatively quiet in the January transfer window and if anything, focus more on making room on the roster for loanees in the summer. Start getting in line with FFP, lowering the wage bill, increase revenue profit, etc. As many as six players could be gone which opens the door for Kalas, DeBruyne, McEachran, Lukaku, maybe Bamford.

What we realy need is striker. Something that can finish our created chances. The better striker, more power to the team.

If there is any money left, we should go after CM. Best would be to get Essien back or get someone like Fernandinho. Not too expensive. I would love to see DeRossi or Vidal here, but more than that I would love to see world class striker here, and since we wont get both, I pick striker ahead. We could also loan a CM if there is such player right now (something like Sahin would be very good).

From CBs, my choice is Benatia. Good, not too expensive, young and experienced.

I can't see why Roma should keep De Rossi. He is getting older and his price tag will only shrink. Besides, he is on absolutely monsterous wages compared to anyone else in the club. I'm positive that he is the only player earning more than £100,000 p/w.

I don't think there's any reason to panic right now. The season has gone well so far and maybe 1 squad player is all we sign in January. it's the summer where the squad should/will be perfected. Falcao or Cavani needs to come in
