His price tag seemed to drop quite a bit. Seems like very good business at that price.

When we bought Werner, there was loads of excitement but avid Bundesliga watchers informed us he would struggle in the Premier League and that based on our formation at the time (433) he would struggle even more being deployed as the sole ST or at LW.

Ziyech was a smart buy (I still believe so) but he directly competed in Mount's role. He isn't a winger and that is where Lampard continued to play him.

When we were linked with Havertz, 50% of us asked why and the other 50% said he was a generational talent, that was why.

You can see there was no long term planning or thinking with buying our strikers. Virtually the same thing happened with Lukaku.

The difference between signings requested by a manager & ones primarily motivated by the board.

Never-ending cycle unless Roman appoint DoF and replace our scouts.

Our scouts are heavily invested in bringing in youth players into the academy.

We need more of statistical/data analytics in regards to recruitment as that was what brought us Mendy.

Lyon have reached an agreement with Tottenham for Giovani Lo Celso. It will be a loan without option to buy, Lyon will pay half of the player's wages.

Lyon are set to sign Romain Faivre this month, Faivre wants to come and the transfer will be around €18m (including add-ons).
